Interesting that with all these “women” screeching about Cain, and how evil he is, not one ever took him to court. Wonder what that means.

The GOP establishment is behind all of this. Last week’s allegations were simply to try to force Cain out or deflate his support. That failed so now they have kicked their campaign up a gear.

I think your sentence “...innocent until proven guilty...” combined with what Mitt said would have been better. These ARE serious charges, and Cain can’t just shrug or laugh them off. And I haven’t seen the press conference - but it sounds like he IS taking them seriously and confronting the liars head-on.

>>The guilty will be punished.

>They rarely are....

They always are; just not not on our timing, but God's timing. Our struggle is to accept that sometimes.

Two settled out of court, which is pretty normal. I put no credence in Gloria All-Red’s latest shill.

Interesting that the first two "women" have disappeared from the story and likely will never be heard of again. Their work is done, they have been paid off, and have left the scene of the crime.

What, they knew 14 years ago that Cain would run in 2012, so they filed phony charges and settled for $35K and $45K respectively, just to derail him? I don't know if there was anything to their original claims, but it happened, the media reported it, and Cain handled it badly. There's no eveidence that they were responsible for breaking the story. I don't blame them for not wanting to have their lives destroyed by going public.

The women who are coming forward now, having never said anything at the time are a different story.

"Beyond reasonable doubt" is the standard for a criminal conviction. This is more like an employer (us) deciding whether or not to hire someone for the most important job in thier company. It comes down to a gut decision that people will have to decide for themselves.

So please explain to me how parading an endless stream of feminazis, who will say anything to be seen as the victim, is a deal killer for the job? If that’s the case, then slander and libel can be thrown out of the books along with immigration laws, separation of powers, and the free exercise of religion.

If Herman Cain really had an aggressive sexual predatory problem, it would have come out during his past political campaigns. It is more likely a case of severely sensitive feminazis who view all men as sexual predators and are jealous that they are not preying on them. That’s my position, and I stand by it. It is no less credible than the factless innuendos that have been provided by the media or the sensationalized publicity stunts by Democrat hack lawyers.

It would be a rarity to see at least one candidate say this : “Herman Cain is innocent until proven guilty and until he is shown to be guilty beyond reasonable doubt, I will deem him to be innocent”.

Why can't a candidate say, "I know (fill in the name - in this case, Herman Cain) as a good and honorable man. Based on my experience with (fill in name), I believe these charges are without substance."

I'd even say this about Mitt Romney who I would never vote for. However, not Newt or billy jeff or Edwards or Guiliani who have proven themselves capable of inappropriate behavior.

If (God forbid) Mitt becomes the nominee, and you do not cast a vote (at least against Obozo), isn’t that the same as voting for Obozo? At least, in it’s effect? The libs are counting on a large number of GOP voters staying home on election day, which gives their “boy” the advantage. This is why they trot out the likes of Gloria AllRED and trumped up charges against a candidate they don’t want to remain in the race.

I never said that. In fact I have been saying I don't put any credence in All-Red's latest shill. But the original two are different, because that all happened 14 years ago and it is a fact that they got settlements. So if you were hiring a CEO for you company, and you found out that had happened at his previous job, it would be relevant in your decision. That doesn't mean you might not hire him anyway, but it would be a factor. And like I said, it could come down to just a gut feeling about the person's character.

Another reason NOT to support Romney for any reason or at any stage. Even at the cost of reelecting OBOZO, the cancer of cringing RINOism must be eradicated from the body politic. If its Romney vs. Obama, I’m staying home.

A gridlocked Ubama would be better than a Romney with a green light.

Point taken, but I could never bring myself to vote for the bamster, I'd soon sit it out.

If I was a CEO interviewing Herman Cain, who just pulled Burger King and Godfather's Pizza out of the dumpster, I'd hire him in a minute, and make sure the Human Resources department had very large NOT-wanted posters of the two bimbos who falsely accused him of sexual harassment.

Yeah, I do hear what you're saying. That's why at this point I am saying it, though out of anger at the present time, I'll decide if and when I have to.
