URBANDALE, Iowa Herman Cains Iowa state director thumbed through a stack of supporter sign-up forms at the campaigns headquarters here, telling ABC News that the sexual harassment allegations that have rocked the Cain campaign this week have actually been a catalyst in this state.
Larry Tuel, who runs Cains campaign in Iowa, said that the endless stream of news stories on Cains alleged misbehavior toward women have attracted new supporters and emboldened existing ones.
The story has made some people angry, Tuel said in an interview on Thursday. We think that people want to show their support for Mr. Cain. I think the average Iowan thats supporting Mr. Cain or any candidate sees through this story, sees that there is nothing to it and that theyre out in droves to support Mr. Cain.

I love it! Go Herman!
Ping
I hope the backlash from this sends a message to the MSM - “wer’re not gonna take your crap anymore”!
I trust my own gut, and don’t believe I’m much different from most other principled Conservatives. This story confirms my own reaction and reasoning.
That would be me that is angry enough to contribute and we never have!
GEE, NO SH*T, SHERLOCK!
Fortunately, they will never get that message and will continue to overplay any hand that comes their way.
The real take-away from this is that many peoples' eyes have been opened, and they will no longer fall for breathless headlines without asking, "ok, what's the REAL story?"
In this case they initially came out with the two women story, and when they saw that was not getting enough traction, they came out with more smears in the subsequent days. They were expecting the runaway ideological slave to cry out in pain, but he did not. The onlookers were not impressed either. Polutico and the other liberal media kept whipping hoping to see some results, but this time no reaction. Hence their complaints that Herman was carrying on like it was business as usual.
This actually is putting Cain firmly in the top tier. He was there before, but the political class was still treating him like an ‘unserious candidate’. In the the voter class, this has solidified his position at the top of the race, and Cain has the opportunity now to ride this to wins in Iowa and South Carolina, which would place him in the desired roll as the single’anti-Romney’ in this race that the base has been seeking.
Uh oh. Not what the media wanted. It definetly has pissed me off.
I learned all I need to know about this Cain story from James Carville back in 1996: “Drag a hundred-dollar bill through a trailer park, you never know what you’ll find.”
Exactly! We have an evil, America hating bastard in our White House and people want him gone. They see through the B S.
We win another battle in the never-ending war of politics.
Yes.
One of the big liberal fishwraps—I think the NYTimes—ran a story yesterday admitting that they were WRONG to run all those Cain sexual harrassment stories.
They did not actually admit that they were factually wrong or unprofessional. Rather, they admitted that they had handled the propaganda attempt badly. They didn’t give a damn about it being misleading or contrary to fact, but they did finally admit that it wasn’t working.
A week’s worth of free advertising.
Liberals can be stupid.
That was the Washington Post
Let me suggest that if you have never donated, start with Herman and send just $9.99 and you will have a sense with just a little ten dollar donation, that you are part of something much bigger.
I urge you to just try it and experience what a wonderful feeling you will get.
If I'm wrong, you're only out ten bucks, but if I'm right, you'll have to get another job to keep up with your donations.
