In what he referred to as his final media appearance discussing allegations of sexual harassment against GOP presidential hopeful Herman Cain, campaign manager Mark Block told Americas Newsroom host Martha McCallum on the Fox News Channel that the reporters at Politico who first reported on those allegations should lose their jobs for violating journalistic ethics.
Block also said during the interview Friday morning that the Cain campaign is considering its legal options and may sue the news outlet over the as-yet unsubstantiated allegations.

They’re allegations.
If you’re going to destroy a man’s life, be sure the facts back you up.
As we can say in retort to Politico, “where’s the beef?”
After a week of combing through Cain’s past with a fine-toothed comb, Politico and the rest of the MSM have come up with bupkis.
You mean they haven’t found his illegitimate love child yet? Incredible!
I am still trying to understand what part of the story the Cain campaign has a problem with (other than its sourced anonymously like many stories are, including Rick Perry is a racist story in WaPo).
Report said there were accusations and there were settlements. These two are not disputed to my knowledge. What made the story worse was Cain’s incompetent handling of the issue since it went live. That is nobody’s fault but Cain’s own.
BTW - Cain was the one who “latched” on to the Rick Perry racist story in WaPo and in fact played the race card with that story on Perry.
Please stop the crying over this story about Cain.
Better then a lawsuit. All fair minded people and conservatives should just not visit the “Politico” site!!! Let “Politico” live with the “dirt bag” left-wing America haters and Obamabots!!! Not much of a future, I think!!!
Attack the messenger! Attack the messenger!
If Politico hadn’t reported it, somebody else would have.
Cain knew he had this incident in his past, and he should have known it was going to be brought up at some point. He may think it’s nothing, but he should also realize by now that no GOPer ever gets a break on something that would be no big deal to a Dem. That’s just how it is.
A grand total of three lawsuits in 20 years is remarkable. And we know Clinton settled several lawsuits in excess of well over six figures. $35,000 is the going rate to make frivolous allegations go away. Its just easier to settle than to make an expensive fight of it in court. But the media doesn’t seem to realize things like this are common practice all over the country every day.
Please stop lying about Cain in the vain hope it will help Perry.
Again, nice little fraudulent circular argument you have Perrybots have manufactured.
The only way Cain had to clear himself in advance from their slander attack is to violate a legal confidentiality agreement. So his only choice was to break the law thus opening himself to being sued in the midst of his campaign, or let himself be slandered.
Now because he did not choose to break the law to protect himself, he is now being accused by the GOP Establishment slanderbots of botching the response
How about this. Accusations have been made. Cain has refuted them. How about the accusers put up even 1 single shred of evidence to back up their accusations?
PROOF Perrybot. Not just more sleazy accusations about “botching the response” where is your proof?
Remember: Barry the Imposter was running for Illinois Senate against a man who was divorced, with the court records sealed.
Barry the Imposter got those records UNSEALED & used them against his opponent. He destroyed the man.
This smells like the same kind of actions.
Don't you ever get tired of pimping this lying smear?

PROOF Perrybot. Not just more sleazy accusations where is your proof? Don't just pimp the smear by claiming the lies true, provide PROOF.
POLITICO should be charged with “Political Harassment”.
You mean they havent found his illegitimate love child yet? Incredible!”””
You referring to Jesse Jackson’s offspring with a staffer from his 1988 campaign?????? Jesse was a bad boy. Where is that child today???
Its interesting how gently the media treated Jesse Jackson while they ask Cain if he beat his wife yet.
The bias is there. If Cain was a liberal, they would be shielding him and working to discredit those women.
They’re just hypocrites!

Better read this thread. Rush Limbaugh thinks your choice of tactics on attacking Cain are moronic.
Funny, cause if Cain had any standards, Block wouldn’t be his campaign manager.
Let us count the ways, shall we?
1. Chris Wilson of Wilson Research Strategies has said publicly that while he was working for Herman Cain at the NRA in the late 1990′s that he personally saw Cain sexually harass a woman at a restaurant in Virginia although Wilson has not said exactly what he believes constituted his claim of harassment.
2. Refusal on the part of Politico's Jon Martin to provide any further details.
3. Text from PJM's story about the alleged "night spent at Cain's VA apartment" changes from "woke up in (Cain's) bed" to "woke up".
4. NONE of the "victims" has come forward publicly... they hide safely behind the wall of anonymity while firing potshots at Cain. Does anyone with operating brain cells truly believe there's NO WAY for them to loophole their way around the severance agreement?
5. Further, one is squeamish about coming out publicly so she'll instead level accusations through her lawyer, Joel Bennett.
And these are but a few... none of this strikes you as odd, huh?
If all of us stopped giving our two cents worth on every thread, the subject would go away that much quicker.
