The discussion veers off the rails just a bit when CNBC's Carl Quintanilla raises the political angle, and gets -- perhaps -- a bit more than he bargained for from Mr. Primack.
Carl Quintanilla: There's also a political element to this, and some people tell you if this had been a former Republican senator, or a Republican governor, the main-stream press would be much more aggressive than it is but because he was a Democrat, is a Democrat, because he was a friend of the President, that they've somehow, maybe... I guess they're saying that we've been soft on him... ?Dan Primack: You know, it's interesting... I'm not one to buy media conspiracies, or left-wing media conspiracies, it's not my bias, and to be honest, if we could pull off a conspiracy -- I'm in the media -- it would be great, but I don't think we have that ability... That said, I've heard from multiple people that sentiment... these were mentally Republican- or GOP-leaning people, but that seems to be a feeling, that if this was somebody who, say, had been a Republican senator or Republican governor, who had also been aligned with Wall Street -- say an ex-CEO of Goldman Sachs -- that there'd be a lot more attention on his personal culpability, potentially from a criminal standpoint, rather from just from making bad business decisions.

We know from articles in the past that MSM sits in on the daily morning teleconferences with Schumer, and company each morning, so yes I would believe the “Press”, the “MSM” are fully capable of conspiring, thus conspiracy.
ABC's Good Morning America also failed to include Corzine's name during their news brief on the investigation.
