Speaker Boehner: House Has Now Passed More Than 20 Bipartisan Jobs Bills
WASHINGTON, DC (Nov 3)
House Speaker John Boehner (R-OH) applauded the House for passing two more bipartisan jobs bills tonight: the Access to Capital for Job Creators Act (H.R. 2940), introduced by Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), and the Entrepreneur Access to Capital Act (H.R. 2930), introduced by Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-NC). Boehner released the following statement:
The House has now passed more than 20 bipartisan jobs bills so far this year. The bills approved tonight will make it easier for small businesses and start-ups to access the resources they need to expand and hire new workers, and will foster a better environment for private-sector job creation and long-term economic growth. I want to thank Majority Whip McCarthy and Congressman McHenry for their work on these common-sense measures.
I urge President Obama to call on the Democrat-controlled Senate to quickly vote on these and the rest of the House-passed jobs bills still awaiting action. We dont need more stimulus spending, higher taxes, or more unnecessary regulations we need to get Washington out of the way and remove government obstacles to job growth. Thats what these bipartisan jobs bills do, and they deserve an immediate vote by Senate Democrats.

I like him.
If any republicans think they are going to get any appreciation from Democrats or republican voters for passing more the 20 bipartisan jobs bills this year, their political instincts are kinda off.
An adult, unlike Newt........
This country club douchebag would rather go through what that idiot Cain is facing than be accused of McCarthyism.
FIRE THEM ALL.
Your tagline is “rebuild the GOP to a conservative party” and you like Boehner?
Now that’s a contradiciton!
Did you hear that Boehner is if for raising taxes, oops I mean “revenues”, in the supercommittee?
A wimp, unlike Newt.
Why are you guys so quiet about it, John? Do you figure "passing" a bill ends your part in this, or do you just not want to make waves against His Majesty, the blackface Commie in the the White House?
You should be shouting it from the rooftops and should have doing it since the day you took over Congress!!
Instead, all we get is just more of the same old backscratching Washington bullshee-it that each day puts us one day closer to national destruction!
Get a spine, you simpering bedwetter!!
I like him too, but he is not right for the job in leadership, he is a wus.
An adult that passed off his responsibilities to a super committee. Say what you want about Newt, but he got a lot of his agenda passed with a Democratic president. Boehner is ineffective and a coward.
Boehner seems to see his job as "making government work". I.e., "business as usual".
Problem is, as currently constituted, government DOESN'T work. And, in this context, "making government work" is a gigantic, expensive mistake.
Boehner doesn't see his job as ideological...i.e., changing the way government works...and that's a problem.
We don't want "government to work". Instead, we want "a smaller government".
‘blackface’
I have always thought he used dark makeup. His legs are quite light.
Most of the bills that have been passed have distributed pork to Obama’s green energy buddies, the public unions, or similar idiocies.
Obama calls them Job Bills, but in point of fact, most of them are job killers—as we have seen over the past two years.
Boehner is very good at caving in, raising deficits, throwing money down rat holes, and passing pork around. And almost all the pork goes to Democrats and their supporters.
Good work, Boner. Glad you feel proud of yourself.
This is the missing message right now. Go on the offensive. Create a factual narrative about what the House IS doing, and what the democrats are holding up.
Bipartisan = We caved in and gave the dems what they wanted so we would be liked by them and not have a 20 year old scandal dug up and spread by the mainstream media
