SEATTLE – Darcy Burner, the Democrat who twice tried to unseat Rep. Dave Reichert in Washington's 8th District, announced Wednesday that she is entering the 2012 race for Washington state’s 1st District seat.

The district is currently held by Rep. Jay Inslee, D-Wash., who is running for governor next year.

Trying hard to get a seat on the beltway gravy train, perpetual candidate Darcy burner, who has made her living in the capitalist enclave of MICROSOFT, is packing up her family and moving to a new district to spread the word of the "Occupy" movement and hopefully dismantle capitalism from the inside.

She’ll probably win.

It’s the way it goes in Obamaland.

Now pay your taxes and have a nice day. :)

Good Lord. Inslee's district is my old neighborhood. It has the likes of Woodinville, Bothell etc... very middle class.

I couldn't for the life of me understand why Inslee could keep getting elected there, so I guess I'm not surprised she's trying for his seat.

she didn’t learn anti capitalism in any of my groups where I was a vendor.

we live and die by how happy the customer is,
and so should any enterprise. the ‘social responsibility’
aspect is respected at MS but beyond a certain point one is
asked to take it ‘off campus’.

people bring whatever baggage they have to the workplace
especially young wild eyed ones. some of the office decorations, you wouldn’t believe..

"I couldn't for the life of me understand why Inslee could keep getting elected there..."

It must be a long time since you moved away. Inslee is a rabid socialist who was elected down in the tri-area before people really knew him. He was dumped after one term and moved up to Bainbridge Island where he has comfortably won reelection since 1996 in a bizarre district that spans the sound and covers a lot of very leftist areas.

Fixed it.

I don’t get it. Microsoft is a crowning example of capitalism. It is also a good example of maximizing profits by charging all that the market will bear. Yet, so many people who gladly accept their paychecks from them are opposed to our system of commerce.
