Personal income was up because government jobs are the only ones that are growing... and they earn TWICE the amount of money that the private sector does... and abc reported yesterday, that ALL of this consumer spending was coming directly out of savings and being spent on necessities for the family... no luxury items... no big cars... no new house... underwear and washers etc... things people must have when they wear out. Our government and their economic terrorists are just lying to all of us... will you continue to fall for their ponzi scheme?

Dittos! I saw the report yesterday along with all of its flowery junk and it was painfully obvious this was a spike for put-off necessities that comes around every so often, especially at the start of the school year.
