Is another Border Patrol agent being sacrificed for Mexico?

Since February 24, 2011, U.S. Border Patrol Agent Jesus Diaz has been sitting in a prison cell, following a conviction on one count of excessive force and 5 counts of lying to Internal Affairs. Given the circumstances of his case, and this government’s seeming crusade against Border Patrol agents, Agent Diaz could arguably called yet another political prisoner for Mexico.

His crime?

On October 16, 2008, Agent Diaz responded to a location near Eagle Pass, TX, after a report came in that several drug smugglers were in the area after crossing the river.

Once the illegal aliens were apprehended, Agent Diaz allegedly pulled on the handcuffs of one of the smugglers as he was placing him in a vehicle…That’s it.

Though two separate oversight agencies conducted their own investigations and cleared Diaz of any criminal wrongdoing…U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton brought charges against Diaz, and in September 2010, the case ended in a mistrial.

However, the Obama Justice Department brought charges against Diaz again, and this time--they received a conviction. In this trial, the feds would not allow testimony introduced which showed that prosecution witnesses committed perjury in the first proceeding.

Diaz faces up to ten years in federal prison when is sentenced in November.

The drug smuggler, who was a minor at the time of his arrest, was given full immunity in exchange for his testimony against Agent Diaz.

Agent Diaz has is an 8-year veteran of the Border Patrol, has four children with his wife, Diana who is a Field Operations Supervisor with the Border Patrol.

Diana Diaz recently told Liberty News Network’s Andy Ramirez: “He is an outstanding father” and “a great husband. Now they won’t have a father for ten years ... all because their dad did his job.”

The Houston AUSA did the same thing to a helicopter pilot. They tried to hang a drowned mexican around his next with no proof. They filed charges of lying to an investigator against him the day before the statute of limitations was up. 9 months later he was acquitted on 1 charge and mistrial on the other three, still hasn’t been reinstated.

So why is our federal government under both Bush and Obama in a RICO love-lock with dirtbags while screwing our LEO's--

Is it bi-partisan corruption--

Recall Gerald Posner defending Ahmed Wali Karzai when the latter was charged with being a CIA tool and a drug lord--

Karzai is murdered, Petraeus is the Director of Central Intelligence, the poppy crop gets U.S. agricultural assistance and the U.S. controls who gets the heroin.

Ten years of blood and treasure and President Karzai just said if U.S. attacks Pakistan, Afghanistan will side with Pakistan.

Are our troops and agents used to run the international drug trade first or our national security first.

Is there a conflict of interests requiring a change of regimes right here in CONUS.

Supposedly they have the same rights we do when they are on our soil. Seems to me there has to be a special Bill of Rights for them laying around somewhere, they do seem to be treated better than our own citizens.

Sutton has long been an employee of the Sinaloa Cartel. He should have been executed years ago for treason.
