Saudi Cleric: $100,000 to Kidnap IDF Soldiers
Arutz Sheva ^ | 26/10/11 | Gavriel Queenann

Saudi Arabia's controversial Islamist and preacher, Sheikh Awad al Qarni, offered a bounty of $100,000 for the kidnapping of any IDF in 'Palestine' who can be used as leverage to force Israel to release more terrorists from its prisons.

Qarni said on his Facebook page, "This award is in response to the allocation of funds to settlers who kill Palestinians prisoners released."

Qarni claimed his initiative, highly praised by many in Saudi Arabia, was a response to reports in Israel's media that funds had been allocated by 'settlers' to kill terrorist Mustafa Muslimani, who was released under the deal for Gilad Shalit's freedom.

Muslimani murdered Binyamin and Talia Kahane on 31 December 2000. Friends and long-time donors to the Kahane family put a $100,000 dollar bounty on Muslimani when it was learned he was one of the 1,027 terrorists Israel agreed to exchange for kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit.

Well, then, anyone posting a reward of that nature ought to drop it down to 10 agarot. That way the Sheikh will of course reciprocate and drop his reward accordingly./sarc

Heck, I’d chip in on that, it’s too bad you can’t
buy tickets at the 7-11 like for the lottery.

Here’s two bucks give me two on Sheikh Awad al Qarni

LOL - good idea. Anti-terrorist lottery tickets! As long as it doesn’t support the state public schools, I’d be in.

Muslimani murdered Binyamin and Talia Kahane on 31 December 2000. Muslimani ... was one of the 1,027 terrorists Israel agreed to exchange for kidnapped IDF soldier Gilad Shalit.

What in God's name was Israel thinking?

They will regret this move for many years, and it will cost them far, far more than the one soldier they got in exchange.

They should never, ever have negotiated with these terrorists and given murders in exschange for this soldier.

That can work several ways, though. For example, would it be fair play to start blowing up crowded restaurants in Ramallah? Can we kidnap PA police and hold them for five years, too?

This kind of turnabout is highly unfair, because it is inflicted collectively. One fringe group offers a reward for a released convicted killer’s death, and suddenly the entire IDF is held accountable. Can we hold the entire PA accountable for the actions of the Al Aqsa Martyr’s brigade?

Saudi Arabia needs to be resurfaced with radioactive glass, pronto.

I vote for Mecca as ground zero. They can line the weapon up on that black rock idol they’re so fond of.

I wonder that myself. I also marvel at their patience.

I wonder if they 'chipped' them before they sent them back?

I had a few images I posted many times post 9/11 suggesting exactly that. Instead we got “peaceful friendly Islam”.
