Don’t you just love the questions Perry is getting from the msm? Obama gets a pass from the msm.

Secession does not sound like a bad idea these days. Jeeesh......even George III was a saint compared to what we have now.

My response, if I were he:

“That’s not a national policy question! You’re looking for any excuse to hang a ‘racist’ label on me!”

“Why don’t you ask me a question you’d ask Obama about creating jobs in this country?”

...EXCELLENT! That would certainly have helped his poll numbers IMO.

A pointless discussion, to be kind to it.

I would oppose it too. It’s stupid and useless to even bring up.

Can you just imagine if Perry...who I have no doubt genuinely opposes it...but if he were to say he was ok with it...

Blaring headline: Perry supports creating confederate license plate.

Then you would jump on him for stupidity, if nothing else.

From your posting of this, with no comment, can’t tell what YOU think about the possibility of TX having a Confederate license plate.

Just for the record, Perry was never for secession.

Yup. Another the important policy question that we all face today.

The MSM is desperately trying to trip up the pubbie candidates with stupid, irrelevant, and nonsensical questions. Making the pubbies look like racists is the MSM propagandists oldest, most worn-out and over-used slander and lie in their playbook. Who is stupid enough to fall for that slur anymore?

Who cares about jobs? the economy? the middle east? Lets flush out the racists!

I wish Perry and the rest of them would refuse to play this game and call them out for their idiotic questioning, like Gingrich does.

This is why Gringrich, despite his warts and all, is gaining in by book. He recognizes that the propagandists of the MSM are THE principle enemy we face today, and he fights back. The other candidates seem too dense to even recognize what is being done to them.

Well, well, now the “lay of the land” on this thread takes shape.

YOUR chosen candidate supports the creation of a confederate license plate by a state government? Cain? Whoever else? Is that right?

Have you asked them and gotten their answer?

If not, Perry deserves your condemnation for saying no, why??

Hypocrites.

This is Perry’s problem: pandering.

The Confederacy is part of American history, and there is a lot of pride taken on what it stood for: States’ rights.

The libs have hijacked the message to say it was a war fighting slavery. Wrong.

Are reporters forced to read and memorize some stupid book of idiotic irrelevant questions to ask Republican politicians?

I wonder how he’d feel about putting the Mexican flag on a state license plate.

FWIW, Texas was not part of “the South” in the Civil War period.

What else is he going to say in response to a stupid question like that? Except maybe, Why are you asking me these stupid questions?
