2012 sneak preview: New pro-Obama group rolls out class-warfare ad against Romney
Hot Air ^ | 10/21/11 | Allahpundit

Via Political Wire, what’s the most depressing thing about this? The fact that it grossly distorts support for a lower long-term capital-gains rate generally into some sort of sinister plutocratic carve-out for millionaires specifically? (Contra the ad, you too can avail yourselves of the magical “millionaire rate” by buying stock and then selling it after a year, kids.) Or the fact that it reminds us we’ll be spending most of 2012, in all likelihood, doggedly riding to the defense of … Mitt Romney? Fully 52 percent of tea partiers already say they’ll vote for him if he’s the nominee. More of you will come around in due time. Assimilation is inevitable.

This is exactly the campaign Boxer and Brown used to win b/c they couldn't run on their horrible records. Slick Willard will be beaten like a drum.

I don't believe that 52% of the Tea Party will vote for Romney.

And should he win the primary, Obama will easily beat him.

Since Romney took Leftist allegations against Cain and ran with them...is it ok for Cain to attack Romney with these baseless attacks?

Just sayin.

Romney is a tea party hater, despises Reagan/Bush, loves big government mandates and solialist healthcare programs and is therefore the enemy. It’s open season on always been pro-life, lifelong hunter and champion of no homos in the Boy Scouts or the military Romney. No bag limit.

Sad to see this RINO-supporting drivel on HotAir.

Romney is by far the weakest candidate. obama will be able to create ads that demoralize conservatives into staying home, frighten evangelicals into staying home, and induce libertarians to go 3rd party. Meanwhile, obama’s campaign will use romney’s recent ‘conversion’ to conservatism to frighten Dims into showing up and voting for obama.
Because of romney’s multiple policy positions, he is target rich and vulnerable; obama has many ways to attack him. And attacking his opponent is obama’s only strategy.

“Assimiliation is inevitable?” Nope, not becoming one with the collective RINO-Borg.

I don’t believe he has 52% of Tea Party support, either.

Resistance is NOT futile :-)

Indeed.

Stupid statements from a Blogger.

Sounds like HotAir needs to be posted under "Bloggers & Personal" from now on.

HUNH?

Are you claiming that we're all going to just accept Romney's "inevitability" and vote for him, en mass, against Obama, when a "President Romney" *cough*, would be any better than Obama?

If so, you are delusional!

The Obaman believes Romney is weak on foreign policy so he steps up his own resume on anti-terrorism to run against Romney if he is nominated.

All? No, not all. Before the 2008 primaries, A lot of Freepers said NO WAY Jose McQueeg!!! Then a bunch of them "voted for" Palin. Others let Obama win by voting 3rd Party or not voting, so they could brag about principles.

What if Conservatives had the power to pick the GOP nominee? Last time conservatives said anybody but McCain, but couldn't rally around a candidate. McCain won.

After watching Freepers praise then teardown Trump, Bachman, Perry, and now Cain...the difference I'm seeing is Obama has no primary challenge.
