Alec Baldwin Occupies Wall St, Duels With Ron Paul Supporters [ Paulies for larger government ]

If Alec Baldwin wants to run for New York City mayor someday, he's getting in some good training as a man of the people—and a defender of capitalism.

The Hollywood star dropped by Occupy Wall Street Tuesday night in Manhattan's Zuccotti Park to lend his vocal support to the resistance movement protesting corporate greed.

Here's what he had to say to the "99 Percent."

And never one to back down from a heated debate, Baldwin also addressed several Ron Paul fans who ambushed him at Zuccotti asking his position, among other things, on whether he agrees with the congressman's call to abolish the Federal Reserve.

Didn’t Alec Baldwin testify before some committee that the entertainment industry should pay lower taxes or they would stop working or leave New York?

He went and told them he supports capitalism and how important the markets are to our country. He went on to use Steve Jobs as an example of entrepreneurship. There is another link is on Drudge.

Sounds pretty accurate to me.

The Ron Paul supporters are challenging him on questions that he clearly has no grasp of. It's all, Blah, blah, blah, capital markets, blah, capital markets." He's learned to parrot a few words.
