I would. How is it the baby's fault that its conception was not a happy event? It is alive and does not deserve the death penalty for someone elses misdeeds. If abortion is murder then it is always murder, even if a traumatized woman is involved. To doing anything else is just saying that it is not ok to kill a baby if the woman is a little upset about the pregnancy but it is totally ok if the woman is really really upset by it. What abortion supporters don't get is that it is not about the woman. It has never been about the woman or her supposed rights. It is about the rights of child. Those rights don't vanish if the baby's dad was a horrible person or if her mom and dad were closely related.

What other way is there of putting it? It's not the baby's fault its mother got raped. Why put it to death. If someone should die, why not the rapist?

Agree w what you said. Most conservatives know that Muslims kill the adult victims of rape, and most also know that here we often kill the littlest victims of rape—the babies. Like you, however, I had never seen the comparison made so starkly before. It’s a very compelling and powerful image.
