Green bean is in short supply this year. Mostly due to too much rain, I believe.
For the last 20 years, hardly a month has gone by without an apocalyptic warning that either coffee or chocolate is going to go extinct pretty soon; and for the last few years the apocalyptic cause has almost always been “global warming”.
GMCR is packaging Starbucks coffee in their Kcups
More fearmongering from the Left. Too bad we have so many dumbasses to believe it.
HEY!! That stereotypical description calls for me to be offended, but the probable accuracy prevents me from doing so.
Get back to me in twenty years, and we’ll discuss it over coffee.
I was aware, hence my reference !
Lots of genetic manipulation going on in Costa Rica right now ! >PS
I don't remember that, but it seems illogical anyway. Wouldn't the result be that bananas would be grown in Tennessee instead of the Caribbean if we actually had gw?
There are some convenience stores,....best coffee I’ve ever bought is McDonalds. Always fresh.
Yeah, they do just about everyone’s. My son just started there.
Good for him. They are one of the few places I’ve heard of that are expanding. I have an inside scoop on the place too.
Why? Is global warming going to kill the civets?

Most Expensive Coffee in the World
The most expensive coffee in the world does not hail from Jamaica or Hawaii, but instead from Indonesia.
Kopi Luwak the most expensive coffee in the world does exist, and those who drink the expensive coffee insist that it is made from coffee beans eaten, partly digested and then excreted by the Common palm civet, a weasel-like animal.
Kopi the Indonesian word for coffee along with luwak is local name of this animal which eats the raw red coffee beans. The civet digests the soft outer part of the coffee cherry, but does not digest the inner beans and excretes them.
Apparently the internal digestion... adds a unique flavor to the beans, removing the bitter flavor, and then beans are then picked up by locals and sold. The most expensive coffee beans can cost up to $600 a pound, and up to $50 per cup, if you can get over the fact that you are drinking such a strange brew.
Actually, this is also the source of the theory of manmade global warming, only instead of civets, the animals which excrete the theory are bovine.
Good grief, bad news about my morning fuel running out?!
Guess I better stock up on coffee beans. I had a good stock of dehydrated bananas, but people kept eating them until they were all gone. This global warming thing is hard to keep up with. I guess potatoes will be next.
Ohhhhhhhhhhh, the Humanity!
I have had Starbucks and I do admit, a bit on the strong side.
Well Starbucks is a status symbol brand. No long lines for Dunkin Donuts coffee.
Bump for later
