The problem with this kind of story is that their are different factions of this movement. Just like their are good and bad factions of the tea party. Many of the people in this movement are communists, but not all of them. Some of them in some places have it right. I have no problem with the basic functions of wall street as it was originally designed. However I have a big problem with the fraud in wall street as it is designed now in conjunction with the investment bankers. I have a big problem when the level of leveraged speculation results in a hugely reduced standard of living for the plain American through higher than reasonable prices in the cost of oil and goods. When wall street drives the prices of those things through the roof just so that they as middle men can make a huge buck. They rely on the fact that we much buy oil and its products no matter what it costs. Oil is no longer about supply and demand.

I have a big problem with Wall street and the big bankers paying off congress to get what they want even when it is really bad for our economic system. I have a big problem with wall street placing its operatives in positions of controlling the FED, and the Treasury, and all the regulatory agencies. The whole system has become a fraud, and the tea party needs to wake up to that fact. If they had then they would mean a lot more.

I am not for government handouts, and people who expect to get something for nothing by taking it from someone else. And that is the problem with many in this movement. They want everything without giving anything in return. If they want something then they should have to earn it themselves.

I have no problem with this story at all. This is not a "faction", this is the essence of the kind of scum we are seeing at this event. It is not merely that "many" are communists, it is "most". Whatever the problems with Wall street and the "bankers", they pale in comparison to the kind of evil these people represent. They are out to destroy, not to bring justice.

You're just like the fleabaggers. You think you have a problem with Wall Street, but you don't. You have a problem with corrupt congressmen who have been on the take for years.

Government regulation and bureaucracy are the seedbeds of all the corruption that has brought us to this place. While I agree there have been precious few "good guys" in any direction, the source of the problem is clear.

Wall Street needs to be fixed. Who is more likely to bring back respect for the law and solid judgement on how government needs to guide the free market; a Tea Party type candidate or someone followed by this unthinking crowd of whack jobs?

Most of the complaints about Wall Street shenanigans and crony capitalism are entirely justified.

The problem with OWS is that their proposed solutions, to the extent they provide any, will make things worse not better.

When government controls whether businesses make a profit and how much, businesses will obviously try everything they can to influence those decisions.

The cure is not more detailed and intrusive regulations, it is to provide simple and minimal regulations, then allow the free market to work.
