Friday morning could be the beginning of the end of the Occupy Wall Street demonstration.
On Thursday, Brookfield Office Management employees were passing out notices to protesters, who have been camped out for 26 days, saying that tarps, sleeping bags and tents are all prohibited in the park, as is lying on the ground and on benches when it becomes an interference for others.
CBS 2 learned late Thursday night the protestors are preparing in case they cannot base their operations out of Zuccotti Park anymore. They are now encouraging people to occupy Tompkins Square Park in the East Village.
They might as well as just said Youre done, one protester told CBS 2′s Ann Mercogliano earlier Thursday.
This is an eviction notice, said another.
In relentless solidarity, members of Occupy Wall Street marched to City Hall delivering thousands of petitions to stop Mayor Michael Bloomberg from plowing through Zuccotti with the NYPD and a clean-up crew Friday morning.
In response to the new regulations, Occupy Wall Street called for supporters to come to Zuccotti Park at 6 a.m. on Friday to defend the occupation from eviction. In a statement on their website, the group also encouraged supporters to call 311 and demand that the mayor support our right to assemble and to not interfere with #OWS.
That statement also went on to say that if Mayor Bloomberg really cared about sanitation at the park, he should support the installation of portopans and dumpsters.
The notification followed Wednesday nights announcement by the mayors office that protesters need to leave the park on Friday so (Occupy Wall Street Protesters Target JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon)

I am 1000 miles away from this faux protest however, were I there I would be spending a great deal of time interviewing these people. I wonder how they regard the U.S. Constitution...how many have an inkling of the history of this nation or do they even care. Our public education has taught Socialism since the end of WWII...most teachers have no idea of how to teach real education...they too teach what they are told. Obama spreads the wealth so many don't have to work or even pay a small mortgage....the Van Jones rant of "Give them the wealth...give them the wealth..." Pelosi, Obama, Mayor Emanuel have encouraged this class warfare....actually they agree with Greece and are acting out the same beliefs that you can have something for nothing...perhaps Greece will not get another handout after this one. These protesters should lose all welfare benefits some of them might be on...get a bath & get a job.

In response to the new regulations, Occupy Wall Street called for supporters to come to Zuccotti Park at 6 a.m. on Friday to defend the occupation from eviction. They make it too easy for NYC, assuming they mean it. All they have to do is send in the Police in at 4 a.m., I would recommend Hazmat Suits.

Clean it with ammonia, and let it sit for a few days to really sanitize the filth away. That would do the trick.

Would ammonia kill the lawn? The owner of the park has already said it will probably cost thousands to reseed the lawn just from the damage already done to it, so a little bleach and ammonia probably won't make much difference.

This is an eviction notice, said another. This seems to be one aspect of capitalism that these guys are personally familiar with.

Actually, ammonia is good fertilizer for plants in small doses. But I was more referring to the concrete and inorganic surfaces.

No, ammonia, released into damp soil, is a fertilizer (nitrogen).
Farmers use “anhydrous ammonia” as their cheapest form of nitrogen. It is deadly stuff to handle if you don’t have the proper protective equipment and know what it can do. The way it is applied to crop ground it to be injected below the surface of the soil, where it binds with any moisture in the soil.

Bloomberg backs down. Clearing of the park has been postponed according to CNBC. It would have been better to have never announced a deadline than this. Now NYC just looks weak and the anarchists are emboldened.
