US vice president hosts Jewish leaders, political rivals for Rosh Hashana toast, says 'Israel is America's closest, dearest, most morally-based friend'
WASHINGTON – At an annual event held at the US Vice President's residence in honor of the Jewish New Year, US Vice President Joe Biden said that "Israel is America's closest, dearest, and most morally-based friend".
Biden added that there is no alternative to America's commitment to Israel.
Among the guests present at the event were Biden's political rivals from the Republican Party, such as House Majority Leader Rep. Eric Cantor, as well as leaders of the American Jewish community, including Democratic National Committee chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
Biden, who hosted the Jewish leaders as in every year, told his guests that he is worried by the attempts to de-legitimize Israel.
'Over my dead body'
Last week, The New York Times reported that Biden met with 15 rabbis in Florida and commented on his reluctance to release Jonathan Pollard, who was imprisoned in 1986 after he was convicted of spying for Israel.

5. A Jew’s aging or sickly, bedridden and disabled parents in need of care from their family, cannot move in to their children’s house.
6. As a State Department Official said: “If a Jew is born, an older Jew must leave.”
But, the Muslims can build and/or squat on Jewish owned land, steal Jewish homes and lands, have multiple wives that they can beat, and have as many children as they would like, and receive Welfare and subsidies from the Jewish taxpayers of Israel.
Yeah, Right. About that.

Whatever Biden says is eminently deniable.
Ask any Israeli. It started in May in 2009. There are still, to this day comments regarding not being able to install toilets being made on some blog sites. This really angered people. That is when they began to refer to Obama as Pharaoh.
It was extensively written about in Arutz Sheva and other Israeli publications. Mark Regev went ballistic over it, and Netanyahu and others in the Israeli government flat out said that they will not tell citizens not to marry, or forbid them to have children, and that they must move away from their families.
On June 1, 2009, Unbelievably, Hillary Clinton ordered Israeli women who live over the 1949 armistice line to stop having babies in “The no-baby declaration”.
Israeli ministers stated “The demand to prevent natural growth in settlements is unreasonable and is akin to Pharaoh’s demand that all firstborn sons be thrown into the Nile River.”
I know it sounds too unreal to be true, but it really is. This is what we have for a government.
