Florida Republican Rep. Allen West is demanding that President Barack Obama force Attorney General Eric Holder to resign.
Appearing on Nashville radio host Steve Gill’s show last week, West said Obama would be “complicit” with what he sees as Justice Department attempts to slow down and avoid a congressional investigation into Operation Fast and Furious and Project Gunrunner if he didn’t push his attorney general to resign. “The president needs to realize that Eric Holder needs to be removed from the Department of Justice,” West said after detailing why he thinks Holder should appear before an investigative committee to testify about how the DOJ has handled its response to the Operation Fast and Furious investigation. “Or else I believe President Obama is complicit and he is in approval of the actions of his attorney general.”

Obama was the originator of the whole thing. I would bet money on it.

Only trouble is, Obama almost certainly IS complicit. So if Holder resigns, Obama should not be far behind . . . IMHO . . . although I will not hold my breath . . . .

This looks like it’s right out of Clinton’s Waco burning of children.
Clinton claimed he knew nothing about it and Janet Reno took the blame but she did not resign the republics were too timid to get rid of her.
Obama will throw Holder under the bus, but turn right around next year and pardon him. Big deal.
I’d prefer he NOT resign...I’d much rather be up against a beaten, but not defeated, Obama, reeling in allegations of corruption, than against a refreshed Biden (who would probably be able to distance himself) or even Hillary as the Dem nominee.
The ideal situation would be for impeachment proceedings to be filed around Oct. 29, 2012...

My dream is to have him found guilty of knowingly defrauded the public with doctored birth certificates, etc., and wind up, after loosing the general election, in a jail cell in Levenworth - just him and a guy named Bubba.
Somebody help me understand here, what - exactly - will the MSM say when Eric Holder steps down or is fired? I mean the MSM, by and large, has been covering for Obama and has steadfastly refused to cover this major scandal and now all of a sudden Holder gets fired and the majority of people will have no idea why.
Yeah but Colonel West can’t come right out and say that without more proof. I’m pretty sure he agrees with us though.
I doubt that there is any real trail that would link Obama to the project, however. At least there isn’t any longer.
