Koufax and Drysdale and the rest of the Bums - miss them now that the Dodgers have become a joke.

Thanks my memory is pretty much no good, tho if someone had mentioned the Giants I would have remembered.

Juan's last year was 1975 as a Dodger. Didn't play with Koufax or Drysdale. I don't think Jaun and Don got along well.

Didn’t the Dodgers have Koufax, Drysdale and Juan Marichal (unsure of spelling) on the same team at one time?

Marichal joined the Dodgers in 1975. long after Koufax and Drysdale had left. In 1965, Marichal got into a fight with Dodger catcher John Roseboro at home plate, which sparked a bench-clearing brawl between the Dodgers and the Giants. In 1975, many Dodger fans thought it ironic that Marichal was now wearing Dodger blue.

One helluva National League pitching staff: Koufax, Gibson, Marichal, Drysdale...

There is hope...Clayton Kershaw is definitely a throwback to those guys.

I was and am a huge Koufax fan. I, however, would like to throw a couple of names in the mix. Nolan Ryan and Randy Johnson.

I never had any respect for Randy Johnson as a person. He may have been a great pitcher, but he loved free agency and jumped from team to team. Free agency is what made me give up major league baseball as my favorite sport.

All three of Lolich’ games in 1968 were complete, too. :’)
