I think this is a trial balloon to test the waters and see if there is a chance of delaying elections. "The end justifies the means", or "By any means necessary." It would appear that the dems are already testing the waters considering the recent comments by the gov. of NC and mr. orzag.

and the sea change of late with some of the more prominent MSM actually giving him bad press and the DC dems backing away, worrying about their own hides, along with the current and looming scandals - he wont be allowed to declare Martial Law. It's the Rat-sinking ship syndrome.
The only ones still ready to do battle with him are the Union thugs and his Acorn unwashed 'army.'
