BALTIMORE – Forty Maryland Republican legislators and party leaders Tuesday endorsed Gov. Rick Perry for president.

“Rick Perry is the candidate who not only can lead our party to victory in 2012 – he’s the candidate who will get America working again,” said State Senator Chris Shank. “With more than a million jobs gained in Texas on his watch, Gov. Perry’s record proves that the conservative philosophy works.”

“Rick Perry is a principled conservative who has signed 65 tax cuts, reduced state spending and stood up to the job-killing regulations of Washington bureaucrats,” said State Delegate Kelly Schulz. “Gov. Perry doesn’t just talk about conservative reform, he backs up his words with actions.”

A herd of deaf and dumb Rinos.

If that were so, they would have endorsed Romney. I guess you don't understand Maryland. It has conservatives just like New York has conservatives in their state.

I totally disagree. Please tell me who's running that you believe is a better candidate and is not a rino.

Lets make sure readers understand that Perry is Pro-Life, Pro-2nd Amendment, wants a smaller Fed. govt., is opposed to obamacare, is pro defense, has served in the military, and is for judges that are strict constructionists. But he is considered a rino. Why?

He's Bush 2 on the illegal alien invasion.

He is for his state's dream act, but I believe he is also opposed to illegal immigration.

Other than immigration is he acceptable to you?

Sorry, I was thinking congressional supporters. This is Maryland state. A great “get”. This is a two man race. I expect national voters to come around after all the harrumphing is overcome by the stark difference between Rick and Romneycare/Obamacare/premium costs/institutionalized socialism/and many other et cetera and et ceteras’.

I didn’t either. Poster “shield” has it chapter and verse, in Cain’s own words. Then, it did ring a bell. Cain has not mentioned it since, that I know of. But, by golly, I remembered it also. It was early in his candidacy. From Rick’s lips to Cain’s endorsement of it. As I said, chapter and verse.
