4 of our drivers just bought new Ford PUs because of that ad.

I just bought a like-new Lincoln. I heard and read on the internet that a startling number of the Ford Lincoln/Mercury dealers in the Chicago 'burbs are closing their doors.

I have a vendor friend who tells me that my own LM dealer is not paying its bill to him and "trying to make arrangements for payments".

Oh, oh !

I hope I have a LM shop to go to if I need parts and repair.

Anyone know what's going on? Is this phenomenom nation-wide? Who's got the inside dope? Something is afoot!

>> I don’t have any knowledge about “adjustable pedals” <<

.
If you were 6’2” and your wife was 5’3” you would want to know about them!

Great idea for SUVs and Pickups.

If you think the ‘50’s good, just try a Navigator.

Leni, the Lincoln dealers are suffering because many of them sold only Lincoln and Mercury vehicles. Now with Mercury gone, Lincoln is in desperate need of a smaller, less expensive model to help make up the lost sales volume.

I know of several Lincoln dealership owners who replaced Mercury with import brand dealerships. It'll take a while for this to shake out, but I suspect the number of Lincoln dealers will shrink for the next year or two.

I have now had my Nissan Titan for two years - would have bought a Ford F150, but couldn’t get the dealership to deal, so went to Nissan. Better choice - US Made by NON-Union workers!

GM also funneled a big chunk of the bailout cash to their European division...

It’s likely more American than what ever piece of junk you drive.

What would really be awesome would be if Ford had recordings of those calls, and used them in their next ads.

Interesting though is now the White Mosque is threatening Ford and now the UAW has passed the word to union heads at Ford Factories to begin forming strike committees and prepare their members for a strike against Ford.

Got a link for that?

My wife is 5’6” and she hasn’t had a problem.

The drivers seat has about 11 different settings (I don’t remember exactly how many) and the steering wheel has electric adjustments to include telescoping.

What is nice is once I set everything up for me, I lock the settings in. My wife then sets it up for her and locks in her settings. Now when I get am going to drive, I simply push a button causing the setup to return to my setting. She can then do the same when she is going to drive.

I do like the adjustable pedals idea...

LMAO.... At first I didn’t understand why you would try to insult me over what I drive and why. LOL

Now I see why. You are from Michigan, where they make “some” that crap you would rather I spend my hard earned money on. Now, that is funny.

Maybe you should drive your union thug made junk to Mexico. My Tundra was made in Texas, by Texan hands and NOT touched by the filthy hands of Obama loving union thugs.

We’re probably not going to become bbq buddies, huh......

Only a thug behaves this way. There really should be outrage about a President having his hired minions attack and threaten people (and groups of people) over expressing their free speech rights.

I did.

I dumped the Chrysler and bought a 2010 Ford. I told both dealers exactly why.
