Can we please gather them all in to a world without petroleum? Let them jerk their hospitals around without electricity and the ability to pump life saving fluids.
I cannot express how stupid these folks are. These people would starve and go blind in less than a generation. They would be so easily done away with. They cannot survive on their own!
Again, WHAT!
As that great philosopher, Ron White, has said - You can’t fix stupid.
Fine. Nothing is stopping you. Sell your car. Sell all your possessions. Give up on refrigeration. Forego pharmaceuticals and medicines. Eat roots and berries. Make your own clothes and shoes. Do not heat or cool your 500 sq ft. apartment. No more vacations. Get rid of the TV, cell phone, and all other electronics. No more travel beyond 10 miles of your home.
Report back in one year to tell us of your progress "taking action."
Shhhhhhhhh......don’t tell them that. Just take away all their oil and gas and maybe they will stay there and not bother anyone any more.
“We, the collective leftist nuts of S.F. demand an end to the economic process, free-market capitalism, that has allowed most of us to live better lives than 99.9% of the people who’ve ever existed.”
Not going to happen, until the last quart of oil is sucked out of the ground.
I say we give this useless state to Mexico. Kaleftfornia is as usefull as teets on a boarhog!
If they were really concerned about CO2 they would stop breathing. A march into the bay would be a good symbol of their commitment.
Pray for America
Just wait until abiotic oil is proven in Maureen’s lifetime. Her head will explode.
K-Y Jelly is not petroleum-based.
>>San Leandro teacher Maureen Forney
How did she get to San Francisco? San Leandro is south of Oakland, across the Bay. Perhaps BART, but that runs on electricity, which they don’t produce locally (ask Grey Davis about that). I bet some of that DC current is derived from icky fossil fuels and possible (gasp) hydro which the enviro-weenies are also against.
Some Conservative needs to get legislation to have FF products and byproducts, made or shipped through the use of banned in SF. I’m serious. Get it on the ballot and push for it hard.
Let the idiots there vote it in.
Then the rest of the country can watch what happens. It would be in effect a week, tops and we’d win that propaganda war hands down. Two can play at that game.
It would be a little like the petition to ban Dihydrogen Monoxide all those liberal sheep signed a while back (multiple times that one has been pulled over the years and they keep falling for it ;)
Everything they run that is electric comes from fossil fuels, so let them live what they preach.
No computer, no car, no cooking, no microwave, no cable TV; let them live the way they want others to live for a few years as an example and we’ll get back with them.
First to die.
So theyll be for bringing back horse & cart travel?
No, that would constitute animal cruelty and carts are made of wood. Two no-no’s right there.
I was behind a Volvo station wagon today, it had a bumper sticker on it “STOP DRILLING”
WTF are you going to run that thing on, Unicorn dung ?
Shut down all electrical power and transit running on fossil fuel.
Stop deliveries of gasoline, diesel, natural gas.
Stop deliveries of all products brought in by gas or diesel powerd trucks and trains as well as those powered by electric generated by fossil fuel.
How about an extended camping trip to the wilderness of Marin County to appreciate: potable water, central heat and air conditioning, lighting, Internet, cell phone, clean clothes (and a place for them), and FOOD you don’t have to pick, catch and kill, prepare it, and cook it. Carrying all your worldly possessions in a rucksack on your back, on foot, and everywhere really sucks, Ms. Forney. Don’t believe me, try it for six weeks and then come back and tell us.
Jennifer Harris wants her 2 year old daughter to understand that living in a democracy...um, she doesn’t even understand that we’re not a democracy.
