Michelle Obama and the Muslim Brotherhood
American Thinker ^ | 9/18/11 | Eileen F. Toplansky

With the news that "[i]nfiltration of the federal government by members of the radical Muslim Brotherhood is worse than some have warned," it should come as no surprise that while Obama has been courting Muslim Brotherhood operatives, his wife has also gotten into the act.

According to the toolkit site,

"[t]he Let's Move! initiative, started by First Lady Michelle Obama, has an ambitious national goal of addressing the challenge of childhood obesity within a generation, so that children born today reach a healthy adulthood. Let's Move! engages every sector impacting the health of children and provides schools, families, and communities with simple tools to help kids be more active, eat better, and get healthy."

Thus,

"[f]aith-based and neighborhood organizations have a unique and critical role to play in ending childhood obesity and addressing related issues of hunger. Your organizations are trusted leaders in your community, which makes you well-positioned to take action. Children learn many lessons about healthy living and well-being in faith- and community-based settings that set the foundation for their lifestyles as adults.

Let's Move Faith and Communities is designed to help faith-based and neighborhood organizations transform neighborhoods, engage communities, and promote healthy choices."

-- Launched at the outset of President George W. Bush's first term, the initiative was largely intended to allow religious entities to compete on an equal footing with secular ones for grants to deliver social services. --

--I recall some of us wondering what the reaction would be when the local mosque took advantage of this---

The most embarrassing first lady the country has ever had. There’s more things that can be done about obesity in kids than just a healthy diet. The schools need to bring back PE classes and bring back the exercising games kids use to play in school. Dodge ball comes to mind. Our schools have ruined our kids. A good example is to look at kids organized sports, like youth football. You see in obesity problems there?

I knew Michelle was behind Let's Move and I thoroughly supported it because I thought it was an effort to move her family out of the White House...my bad.

It would appear that Spain's Princess Letizia or French First Lady Carla Bruni might be a little better at telling kids what to eat.

Note to Michelle: muslim Arabs HATE black people, even more than they hate white infidels. You are like DOGS to them - “black clouds to ruin their day” as I overheard some Arabs talking once as a black friend of mine approached us. jes sayin.

I wonder if this hobby of hers has been underestimated.

Everything they do is underestimated. They (and/or their handlers) are always trying to kill two or three birds with one stone.

It's Another "Us" Crisis

"In her speech, Michelle Obama declared that childhood obesity was a national security problem. (Janet Napolitano has already declared that Global Warming is a national security threat.) To be clear about this, we have an administration that insists that America could survive another 9/11. That doesn't care about the impact of repealing DADT on ground troops in combat. Which actually tried to move the trial of Khalid Sheikh Mohammed into a civilian court. But considers kids who eat too many Twinkies to be a national security problem.

"We have an administration which has chosen to grope little kids, rather than profile Muslims. But heaven forbid if little Billy has an extra snack before bed. Then the alarms will go off in the Department of Homeland Security, because little Billy might not lose weight on his own. And then he becomes a problem for the mandatory government health care system. With every American now a factor in a national health care monolith, it's important to force Billy to lose weight in order to cut costs. Just as it will be important to cut off his treatment and encourage him to choose euthanasia when as an adult his health care costs rise too high."

"it's important to force Billy to lose weight in order to cut costs."

I disagree with this statement. Rather---it's important to force Billy to lose weight in order to cut costs expand costs--- to expand ObamaCare."

Federal monitoring of our children's BMI is going to require many more man-hours and even home visits. Foreseeing that parents could be given warnings and charged with neglect under this regime is not a stretch.

Interesting. It also appears to allow them to maintain association with various groups without necessarily causing notice: “hide in plain sight”.

Exactly! I was going to expand on that---particularly with respect to the home visits---already slotted in ObamaCare (re: the elderly, I think). This will require an army of workers....think ACORN (and its renamed incarnations).

Sometimes it seems that ARE the worst case scenario...
