Will there be any sanctions about those who engage in promiscuous sex, or homosexual sex?

Not from a moral point of view, but from a health point of view? If it’s all about health, shouldn’t we look into all areas of people’s lives in which they are doing things which spread diseases????????

I predict that the gay community will get a waiver if this idea of monitoring employee health habits become widespread.

I would think that the “personal responisibility” crowd would be all for this; what’s the problem? Pay for your additional cost! Dems make enough real mistakes; no point in chasing an imaginary one.

I agree. Sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

If smokers (those devils) and non-exercisers are under scrutiny..then so should those that exhibit risky sexual behaviour...or eat a lot of sugar. All of the possible ramifications are risky to an insurance company.

But you could well be right. The gay community may get a pass..because unless they declare themselves to an insurance company, how would the company know?

It would be worth it to scrutinize the list of alleged health risks, which is probably excruciatingly Peecee.

It would, if this didn’t have “control freak” written all over it, besides of the $50 apparently being for all purposes a fine, over the current rates, and not a tax break for compliance

Typical socialist. We’ll “give” you free health care, but we’ll tell you how to live your life. Rather than requiring a co-pay or implementing an annual deductible, this is how the left proposes to save money.

I personally believe if you’re on Medicaid and smoke you should pay $100 a month for Medicaid.

I personally believe if you’re on Medicaid and smoke you should pay $100 a month for Medicaid.

How about getting rid of Medicaid and incentivizing physicians to do charity work.

Then it would be between the physician donating his time (or partially donating it) whether he chose to treat a patient with habitual self-destructive behaviors like smoking (or homosexual sex or gluttony or any of the other permutations)

Keep the blasted government out of the equation.

Don’t forget, too...

If forced to participate in “wellness”, they probably get 3 or more hours a week on the clock to go to the gym or their exercise method of choice.

I agree.
Or they will spend the 3 hours reading a paper,or they will put in a workers comp claim, for pulling a muscle.
This stuff never works.
