An Iranian court Tuesday set bail of $500,000 each for two American men arrested more than two years ago and convicted on spy-related charges, clearing the way for their release a year after a similar bail-for-freedom arrangement for the third member of the group, their defense attorney said.

Under Shari’a, captive non-Muslims can be enslaved, beheaded, released as a gift (for the P.R.) or ransomed.
They don’t expect the hostages to return for further “proceedings”, so what we are told they are calling “bail” is really ransom. (You never know if it was their word or the media euphemizing what they said since we alway CLAIM we don’t pay ransom.)
What happened to good old Cold War prisoner swaps? Snagging a couple of their nuclear scientists and then doing some horsetrading is what we should be about.
