Before anybody panics, let’s look at the reality of this, K?

Operating Warships in potentially enemy waters without air cover is a DEATH SENTENCE for the crews. Erdogan may want to Sabre rattle, but his Air Force is out-classed, and doesn’t have long range capability.

Turkish ground forces massively outnumber the Israelis, but they would have to travel through Lebanon first, with long lines of supply vunerable to air and sea attack. And as soon as they lift the boot off of the Kurds to fight Israel, they will declare independence from Turkey, and cause a civil war.

Jordan won’t want ANYTHING to do with this, Syria has severe internal problems already that a war won’t solve, and Egypt couldn’t field a sizable army right now even if they wanted to.

The Saudi’s and the Gulf States will sit it out. Iraq, Libya and Algeria are no longer capable of projecting military power outside their own borders. Morocco doesn’t want to play, either.

The ONLY wildcard left in the region is IRAN, and there is a buffer called Iraq, as well as internal dissent that could keep them out of it, other than through supporting terrorist actions by their puppets in Lebanon.

Frankly, Israel shouldn’t fear this move much, and even if it turns in to a shooting incident, the Turkish Generals will overthrow Erdogan before he takes them to full-scale ground war.
