I believe that Obama is at an all time low, and I mean really low.

What I think is happening, just a hunch and admittedly anecdotal, is that people are not OUTRIGHT condemning Obama. Not sure about how the poll thing works but my experience that if you’re in a room of people that you don’t know their political bent, if you cautiously mention Obama, with some careful wordage, given time and a comfort that rancor and arguments will not follow, it will come out.

I can give one example of this but there’ve been many, you’ll have to take my word for it. I’ve a choir mate in my church, nice lady, very liberal. Or so she says she is but that’s for another time. Anyway, of late, with each choir practice more and more of the members are softly expressing dismay with Obama. Like most groups some of us are more vitrolic but, to everyone’s surprise, I am seldom one. Choir is choir to me and I’m not going to delve into the depth of my politics in that venue.

But there are a couple of others, way more vocal to me, to my hidden joy, and with each week it grows to more expressing dismay with OBamer, in varying degrees.

My liberal friend, another alto, my seatmate, to now has kept quiet though she never defends Obama. I chanced to phone her the other night and I told her I had to cut back on other church activities as I am a local precinct captain for the Repub party. I mumbled my reason, to the effect...”no matter your political idealogy, Joan, if that guy in the WH gets another four years he will destroy this country. I’m going to do my small bit to stop it.”

She was quiet at the other end of the line, this former zealot of hope and change. Quietly she said...”I don’t think I’m going to vote at all this coming election.”

I moved on with the conversation but I noted....obviously she’s no longer an Obamer zealot and she’s still so anti-conservative she will NOT vote for the pub even though now it’s unknown who it will be.

That’s how I see it. We’ve been called racists and names so many times, why risk telling anyone in the public surround how we feel? The so-called “moderates” are keeping mouths zipped, or soft, as I speculate, because when you get in that voting booth NO ONE CAN CALL YOU A RACIST AND YOU CAN PULL THAT LEVER IN PEACE!

I hope I’ve made sense with my assessment but I truly believe that this 43% approval probably should be reduced by a good 10% as I think there are now that many people still taking the route of least resistance and mouthing soft plaudits for Obamer but who will pull any lever but his come the election.

Over time, as in my choir practice, more and more start to get brave, plus OBamer keeps speeching and looking dumb, and the people get braver.

He’s going to keep dropping. Were he not black and once beloved with hopes based on nothing from so many, Obamer would be at a 33% approval rating today.

It’s my story and I’m sticking to it.

Lets hope that all those people who voted for him to prove that they were not racists, will voted against him to prove they are not stupid.

Obama will have the black vote locked up as before, so they set a floor on how low his ratings can go. But whether they will be highly motivated to get off their seats and go out and vote, well, that's another story. Apparently many of them think this new version of the obama "jobs bill"(sic) will bring them prosperity. One more big disappointment in store, which will be demoralizing to them say the least. Ditttoes Hispanics.

So yes, his ratings as reported may be overly favorable compared to the actual voting behavior next year.

I'm seeing that same mentality where I work. Only two of the 15 people I work with voted for bamster. One still supports him and the other has also said he won't vote in 2012. Neither of the two blacks at work voted for the bamster.

I was talking to my sister who is a nurse in San Antonio. She knows several bamster voters on her floor, and most of them are sick and tired of his non performance. Most will either not vote or vote for the (R) next year.
