There seems nothing is too undignified, shameless, too blatantly convoluted, too steeped in the practices of unmitigated demagoguery for the left-wing, liberal mindset to espouse.

my only exposure to tavis smiley was watching him give sage nods to the-man-formerly-known-as-Prince as said man was waxing insanely on about “the contrails” over black neigborhoods...

Hey Tavis, obama had three years, a trillion dollars and control of the House and Senate and he still couldn’t do it. So take your B.S. and shove it.

Wow, this guy's really seen through us!

Unemployment, homeless, dirty water, dirty air, defective cars, appliances, toys, dog and cat food, no medicines, no medical treatment, forcible smoking, sex without birth control, no porno - it's awful!!!

No bread, "Let them eat cake!"

Being a conservative sure is funnnnnnnnnnnnn!

Like most of those who voted for Obama, Tavis Smiley is a racist.

We are racist, Hobbit teabagger terrorists who are against jobs and should be taken out.

Wait till they get to the part where we eat our children.

I guess by “help”, the left means some makework government job or an extension of an unemployment check.

They in no way mean to or intend to make it easier for the private sector to “help” by providing jobs.

They accuse republicans of liking money too much but don’t want to help the unemployed? Their lack of understanding of the connection between jobs and money is astonishing.

“I think it is highly disrespectful not to attend a joint session of Congress that’s being addressed by the president.”

It would be, if the president waited to address joint sessions of Congress when he had something important to say. But if he’s gonna tell them something he could just as easily have announced from the White House, or better yet a stump speech, no one need waste their time listening in person.

I’d like Tavis Smiley to BE jobless. Does that count?

Obama and the Democrats are doing everything that they can to hold back, control, hamper, regulate and take from businesses and those who start, own and run them. They are doing everything possible to destroy the economy. Then they scream JOBS, JOBS, JOBS. Go figure.

Bob Herbert is wrong: four trillion simply isn’t enough. We need a forty trillion dollar plan. And when that doesn’t work, we need a four quadrillion dollar plan!
