I never really got a good view of how fat Christie was until his stroll with Obama. Than man is beyond fat, he’s embarrassingly obese. He would have ZERO chance in a general election. Sorry. That’s just the way it is.

I hope he can get some help. He’s going to drop dead of a heart attack at that weight.

Wow. Judging from that picture he looks like he put on more weight. What is with the band aid on his hand? Did gravy come out when he cut himself?

Well it is a bazillion degrees there in the summer - and that’s in whatever shade you can find.

But it's a very dry heat which is deceptively bearable, to the point where they warn you to stay hydrated, even though you may not feel as uncomfortable as you would in a more humid environment. In Las Vegas, walking about in summer heat, you simply feel hot, as opposed to Atlantic City, where you not only feel hot, but feel as if you've just been dipped in warm chicken fat to boot.

I have been to Vegas in July and I think he has a point there.

If Christie runs ( waddles would be more appropriate) for president and wins, he will have to dig up Taft’s bathtub.

Obama himself is a serial Vegas basher. Christie has an excuse in promoting his own state.

I think Christie and Eagles coach Andy Reid need weightwatchers interventions.

that picture is from late July after he was hospitalized with “breathing issues”. Band Aid probably from the IV

I would have a real hard time voting for this guy after seeing him in action during the storm. It was unprofessional and very panic oriented. He has little or no leadership skills. Christie’s whole aura has been manufactured over his very short term as Gov with You Tube clips. Let him stay in NJ for a decade and then come back with a solid record of achievement. Then I will think about voting for him.

Idiotic thing for Christie to say. For one thing, Obama has already helped plenty with destroying their economy. It may be 105 but it’s dry heat!

I once flew into McCarran airport in the summer. Couldn’t fly out because it was so hot. Had to wait almost until 3am when things cooled a bit.

Agreed. I’m not sure why we feel the need to blast the guy.

He’s a hard working tough SOB who has taken on the unions in a deep blue state. He’s all about fiscal reform, entitlement reform and telling people that if they don’t like their current job they can go find another one. These are all things we’d like from the Governors of all 50 states.

If we’re going to win this war with the socialists like Barry, we’ll need the fat man on our side.

The absolute hottest race in the Grand-Am Rolex schedule was at New Jersey in July, as it has been in years before. I am a Floridian and that one had me gasping. Thank goodness the logistics lady had plenty of watermellon. Keeping hydrated was a real challenge.

Funny thing happened when the PR lady went to the Medical building to check on a crew member of another team. There was a spectator they had just revivied with IV’s. The nurse asked him if he was trying to keep hydrated and he responded with a resounding, Yes! I’ve already had five beers!

Why would you even go to Vegas for the weather? You’re planning (and they’re planning) on you spending your time indoors. What a stupid statement when trying to boost your states tourism. Vegas shouldn’t even be mentioned, you put your own state down from the start by comparing. AC should secede and become a city/state and drop the NJ if they want tourists

Stoopid is fat people, at Mays Landing, wearing speedo’s or bikini’s.

Hey, Guv, they got air conditioning in Vegas and you can ride the monorail from hotel to hotel. Heck, if you stay at a nice place, like the Palazzo, Wynn or the Canyon, you can get a taxi or limo with air conditioning and never know it’s summer.

Same thing in the winter. Although, I luvvvvvv! Cold weather and just walked around in my shorts for two weeks this past Christmas and New Year.
