Sources tell National Review Online that Gibson’s chairman and chief executive, Henry Juszkiewicz, will attend President Obama’s joint address to Congress on Thursday. Federal agents recently raided Gibson’s manufacturing facilities, suspecting that the company was using illegally-imported wood.
Juszkiewicz has vocally defended Gibson’s practices and denied the allegations. “There’s no doubt we’re being persecuted,” he said in an interview with the Tennessean. “But while I was sitting in my conference room, while agents blocked the door to my office, I decided two things. One, we were going to try and fight this in court. Secondly, we were going to give this issue visibility.”
Juszkiewicz will be the guest of Rep. Marsha Blackburn, a Tennessee Republican. Blackburn represents numerous Gibson employees, many of whom reside in the Nashville suburbs.

It would have been very unlike Obama to invite him as something of an apology for Federal overreach!
I recommend he bring some ear plugs and maybe something to read during the speech.
And speaking of Gibson, listen to this CEO in a radio interview (never mind who the interviewer is, just listen to the CEO...a stunning story of jack booted government thuggery.....but hey, it could “never happen here” right?

Since the last time a member of Congress called the President a liar, when he lied to joint session of Congress and was called on the carpet for that, I wonder if the CEO of Gibson, will shout from the gallery “liar!”
It is clear that the President is in campaign mode and not focusing on the real problems of the country, so he will probably tell several lies. I doubt that the media will call him on his lies, but maybe someone in the audience will again focus world attention on the lies this man tells.

It’s a very sexy product to build an anti-regulation movement around. I could even see a star-studded concert at a “Save the Gibsons” rally.
Being a guitar player of 50 years, I am very passionate about guitars. But maybe that’s just me.
Who knows — maybe pissing off the guitar players will be the straw that breaks the Obama administration’s back.
