He was 5 straight days at his SA floor of 19. That’s only back up to 20 today.
This is a real floor for bammers’ “base”.

I predict that the campaign speech to congress won’t help him. In fact, I believe it will be a negative.

This is probably where he starts to level off. He’s down to the stubbornly stupid.

Pretty amazing it took the country 3 years to figure this guy out.
Pretty damn depressing .....

You are correct, for several reasons.
It has been so built-up and overhyped, people are expecting some combination of the Gettysburg Address and FDR's Day of Infamy speech. He can't possibly live up to that.
The only things he can offer are more of the same-old-same-old, or hard-core leftist Class Warfare rhetoric. The former won't inspire anyone, and the latter, while it will fire-up his base in the short term, will do lasting damage to him next fall.
To: unkus
The speech will give him a small, temporary bump. There will always be gullible, desperate people who grasp at straws. I’m ashamed to admit it, but much as I detested Clinton, I actually thought he meant it when he said we’d track down the Cole bombers. I was just wretchedly miserable over the loss of American life, and allowed myself to be fooled. [If memory serves, they did get tracked down, but not on Clinton’s watch—he did squat.]
Don’t worry if Barry gets a momentary dead cat bounce. It will not last. His stranglehold on the economy is his political death knell, and there is nothing lasting that ‘just words’ can do about it.
To: Buckeye McFrog
Good points.
His only hope for re-election will be massive voter fraud and the MSM doing CYA for him.
I also think the economy could be in much worse shape this time next year. I hope I’m wrong.

Pretty amazing it took the country 3 years to figure this guy out. People are finally doing their own critical thinking and asking the most basic of questions: "Who is this guy?

Pretty amazing it took the country 3 years to figure this guy out. More figuring out is needed before he's in real danger of losing, though. Beating him is still a steep hill to climb. Part of those low numbers comprise of hard-core libs who are disappointed with a perceived slowness of his dismantling of traditional America.

The Obammunist can’t win. The only things he can do to help the economy grow are things that are anathema to his religion, and if he does them, he can kiss ALL of the Leftist votes goodbye. Conservatives won’t vote for him anyway, so it’s a win-win for us.
