Sarah Palin said it is important whom Republicans choose to run against President Obama, but didn’t directly address whether she’ll join the 2012 presidential race during her much-anticipated speech before a tea party crowd in Iowa on Saturday.

The former Republican governor of Alaska and 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee referenced the 2012 election many times throughout her remarks, calling out the “permanent political class,” “crony capitalism” and “entrenched political interests.”

The longer she delays announcing her candidacy, the longer she keeps the ruling-class RINOs, state-controlled media, DemocRAT and Republican opponents, etc. in complete and total disarray.

Why should she give up her strategic advantage?

To make it "fair" for the RINOs and 'Rats?

Palin is coming, and the Tea Party is coming with her.

ineluctable

I like Sarah Palin very, very much. She would make an excellent secretary of energy. Drill, baby drill.

She’s not running. She’s not going to run. It ought to be clear by now to anyone not running around in a cultish daze.

Far better even than the speech, was the autographs afterward - 45 minutes of Palin signing autographs.

2:30 onward in the following video:

That’s hour 2, minute 30. Watch it full screen, this is quality television.

Obama is toast. So may be Perry, frankly. Never saw such natural political skill before

Again hour 2 minute 30:
(45 minutes of autograph signing)

anyone not running around in a cultish daze.

I don’t consider myself to be running around in a cultish daze; in fact, I resent it. I have not been a wild devotee, but I tell ya, I liked what I saw today and so did my spouse—who was not a fan until seeing her speech today. So did you watch the speech today?

Another JackAss heard from.

What's wrong, you afraid she is going to announce?

Yup. If possible, let her announce in the summer of 2012. I am not forking my money to another open-borders Texan.

You keep posting this as though Sarah Palin is the only natural born citizen who might be in consideration.

If the only consideration is that she was born here, then you don’t have much to be going on.

She needs to @#$% or get off the pot.

Yes she spent more time being very gracious to the crowd after the speech. The speech was great as well but I was more impressed with the after the speech. She is gifted, called, very genuine and tireless.

She's running without the announcement.
Other candidates are running after having announced.
Both are scrutinized daily by the MSM and the voting public.

What does this strategy gain for Sarah ?

I’ll make this easy for everybody...

If she DOES run, she ain’t gonna win.

I’d venture to guess she would be one of the FEW people 0bama could actually win against.

Sarah Palin is not going to be anyone's "secretary" of anything!

I have to say that she’s not my ideal candidate. I admire her. I see that she has exposed the media and liberals as terrible haters.

At this point, she’s beginning to annoy me. She needs to say yes or no ... it seems like she is milking public sentiment.
