Do you want to build the movement to defend public education and fight racism, and you’re serious about winning?

Do you want to increase underrepresented minority enrollment, restore affirmative action and overturn prop. 209 and pass CA DREAM Act 131 and a UC-Wide DREAM Act?

Then this class is for you! “Fighting to Learn, Learning to Fight: Building the Movement for Public Education and Equality” is a class designed for participants to learn the theory and method behind the leading organization in the fight for public education at UC Berkeley and around the country: BAMN (The Coalition to Defend Affirmative Action, Integration, and Immigrants Rights And Fight for Equality By Any Means Necessary). BAMN is an integrated organization with a proven track record of success in our campaigns to protect the right to a public education for all students; Latina/o, black, Arab, Asian, and white, documented and undocumented.

Why would it surprise anyone that this happens at a state funded institution? Where would the left be without taxpayers funding?

BAMN = “The Coalition To Fight...”? Shouldn’t an acronym actually represent the words for this group? Geez...maybe their acronym could be DUMBASS.
