With all due respect to Americans who have suffered loss, the media and politicians seem to enjoy precipitating the hype for natural disasters.

Just like the 1st responders getting locked out of the 10th anniversary of 9/11 events so all the politicians can be there instead.

(DISCLAIMER: This is not meant to poke fun at people who have suffered harm or property damage...this is directed at the people being hysterical about all this.)

Barry needed a jump in his poll numbers so voila a manufactered crisis. I fear what others will be coming during the 2012 election the regime will try to take advantage for electoral gains.

First prize went to Tucker Barnes, a reporter for Fox 5, who went live from Ocean City, Maryland amid a strange, brown foamy substance. He reported that it “didn’t taste great” and had a “sandy consistency”. Apparently, it was raw sewage:

LOL!!! I saw that this morning it was hilarious.

I’m sure the media wanted to show how heroic Obama was in this crisis, compared to Bush’s alleged bungling of Hurricane Katrina.

The bottled water and emergency generator industry loved the hype.

Because of the MSM’s attempt to use Katrina for political gain, all future hurricanes will be mismanaged.

How much carbon was used to move millions of people unnecessarily?

the best part was FOX news yapping on about how lowering taxes was going to decrease the number of hurricane hunter flights out in to the storms that were coming.

That's why ya gotta prioritize FOX!! Give porch monkeys cable tv, cell phone, walking around money or fund flights, armed forces or stuff we need. duh!!

The first thing that always gets cut is the stuff we need and the last stuff to get cut is middle management weeinies, boy toys for Barney Franks and Harry Reid or private jets for nancy pelosi.

Cut it all to the bone, could care less if another airplane flew into a hurricane. Just drop a probe in or a drone to get data. Manned flights into that stuff is lame and I'm sure there are other ways to collect data. My real question is "What data do those planes provide that isn't provided by doppler radar, ocean/sea buoys and satellites? "

Paul Krugman is probably the most disappointed man in America. This could have been the disaster that turned our economy around.

I noticed that all the hurricane reporters were doing their reports from the beach-front.
