the author is making waaaay too much of this ....”she has to get in or out” ?.....it is only one phrase...if she delays getting in at this point shed will look weak ...if she says no but decides yes later she looks indecisive. Its not carved in stone that she has to act soon but realistically is there a better time?

Not necessarily "wants Obama to be reelected", but would settle for it if they can't get Jeb on the ticket. But what I think they will do, is go to the eventual Republican Nominee and "make them an offer they can't refuse" the support of the Bush Dynasty for giving Jeb the VP spot. If the candidate does refuse, then I think they will do everything to sabotage the nominee, so Jeb as a shot in 2016

Rove is trolling for a nice contract from somebody in this race. He doesn’t really care who they are or what they stand for. He was heavily invested in the establishment candidate when the people chose Christine O’Donnell it was a failure for Rove and you saw the result.

Secondly you can see the Bush twitch in his eye and the corner of his mouth when he talks about Perry. And yes, they don’t want Perry messing up their plans. The Bushes are guaranteed money for him.

Karl Rove is protecting his client, Romney. Many say Romney with Rove's advise is on the side lines waiting for Sarah Palin to enter the race and suck all the conservative votes between 3 candidates. Thinking it will leave Romney a commanding lead.

Rove & Co are frightened to death of losing their hold on what makes them money in DC. The GOP Establishment and the elite of the GOP are all hoping and wishing Romney is the nominee.

But .. Rove is an “RNC elitist”. He believes that what he thinks is the be all end all of politics. He has never been a fan of Palin’s - and I don’t think he cares much for Rick Perry either. I used to pay a lot of attention to what he says, but not so much lately.

SP 'KNOWS' how to campaign and 'WIN' against huge odds. I feel strongly (as you rightly point out), that she is strategizing and will playing to 'her' biggest strengths, with the biggest one being "ground troops". She will have control of the "ground" nationwide over all the other opponents - regardless of when she enters the race. So, based on this alone, she CAN PICK the TIME and PLACE of her choosing to ENGAGE!

Reading her response yesterday...and in particular, acknowledging CNN’s coverage, I believe she will NOT announce on September 3rd. Not to say that I don’t think she isn’t running, I just don’t believe it will be that day.

I do think she will announce later in the month.
