Jane the Ventriloquist identified

That’s the nickname I’ve been using for the woman in New Hampshire who used her own child as a puppet to launch what she thought were gotcha questions at Rick Perry. (“Ask him about evolution. Ask him why he hates science.”) This delightful woman’s name is Kristin Bunce, which is mentioned in exactly one story on the incident, a blog post on the NYT site. I’m kind of surprised they didn’t scrub that part. But now we’ve got a name, so let’s see what we can dig up about the esteemed Ms. Bunce, shall we?

She hasn’t used her daughter as a political prop yet, though. Just her son.

Here’s what she has listed on Facebook under “Education and Work”:

Grad School

John F. Kennedy School of Government Class of 1996 · MPP

The University of Texas at Austin MA Government

College

Wellesley College Class of 1990

High School

Chatham High School Class of 1996

Pretty sure that last one is supposed to be 1986. And I’m told the fact that she went to UT might explain why she hates Perry.

And as the article points out. Just like Joe the plumber’s first name was Samuel, this woman’s first name is actually Marna. What is she trying to hide? We’ve blown her cover!! She’s not actually Kristin. It’s a lie!!!!

Who hates science?

Obama told NASA their prime mission was Muslim outreach.

Gov. Pery’s response to this was awesome: “Here your mom was asking about evolution, and you know it’s a theory that’s out there, and it’s got some gaps in it,” Perry said, according to ABC News. “In Texas, we teach both creationism and evolution in our public schools — because I figure you’re smart enough to figure out which one is right.”

Good sign that suggests Gov. Perry is prepared, can see the forest from the trees, is fast on his feet, will not put up with the BS, and most importantly... will out debate Mr. Soetero.

How Alinksy of her to pose her daughter as a “science hater” when it’s virtually sure she was nothing of the kind.

He might be one of “those” ministers, you know. The ones that will gladly marry Adam and Steve and help carry the banner down Main Street on Pride Day. She might have gotten her values straight from daddy.

In Texas, we teach both creationism and evolution in our public schools.

Unfortunately,Texas schools don't actually teach creationism in their schools!

This doesn’t surprise me one bit. I never doubted that she was nothing but a hack and a shill. Using children? Isn’t that the teacher union thing to do?

...btw...while I’m sure she thinks that conservatives “hate” science, I KNOW that leftist hacks HATE scientific inquiry.

I shut a liberal up once re: Creationism

Liberal: Evolution is fact of science while Creationism is an invention of idiots who worship a pretend god.
Me: Are you saying that Muslims are idiots who worship a pretend god?
Liberal: (blink...blink)
Me: You know Creationism is a teaching of Islam, don’t you?
Liberal: (huff)

I don’t know, I met a woman when I was growing up and she was bad, bad bad

Met her Dad and was shocked that he was the incredibly religious....when I got to know him better, I asked him about how is daughter turned out.

He said that she fell under the influence of sinners that convinced her that all she had to do was disbelieve and it is no longer sin. As being a child, she was easily mis-led with the idea that all things are relative to yourself.

This led to serious estrangement with his daughter due to her life choices, but he still hugs her and loves her as only a father can do.

Now that she is grown up, she almost has a violent reaction to all things religious because it brings up that guilt that she seeks to repress as she first was corrupted...there is no sin, no religion, no God..etc.. If she allows this thought to enter her head, she has crushing guilt that she couldn’t bare to live with.

Someone like this can be saved, but it takes a event...some divine intervention or a life calamity

Except for creationism vs. evolution - she was no more vicious than some FReepers venting about each and every GOP candidate.

I wish we could remain less emotional and more circumspect. Being POTUS means listening to ALL American citizens...weighing the options and MAKING A DECISION that is CONSTITIONAL.

One cannot please, or fool, all of the people all of the time - and IMHO all candidates should be judged on their motives as well as their actions - well reasoned? or expedient?

I pray that Perry, Palin, Cain and Bachman defer to the Constitution to guide them - always.

I should add, he has faith that the seed that he planted when she was growing up will bloom again ... because ultimately good conquers evil.

The truth is in her heart ... no matter how hard she tried to deny it.

Excuse me?

Please tell me about some of the FReepers who stalk presidential candidates, with their kids, under false names to ask "gotcha" questions.

I will be watching carefully for your reply. I'd like to catch those lying cheaters myself.

“Freeper venting” does not equate to ‘stalking’ the candidates. However, some venting is pretty vicious.....and there are lots of ‘GOTCHA’ quotes & links to biased articles when someone wants to bolster an argument.

I look at that as part of the political process and protected free speech. That is what this forum exists for. If they are wrong, it is up to you to read for yourself and decide.
