Former Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean predicted that prominent political supporters of former President George W. Bush will deal a critical blow to Texas Gov. Rick Perrys (R) presidential campaign.
The Bush people dont fool around, as you know, Dean said Tuesday night on MSNBC. You can say a lot of things about Bushs presidency and his failures as president, but one thing nobody should say [anything] bad about [is] his political team. They know what theyre doing, and they are ruthless, and they are going to take Perry out.
Deans comments come as a number of former Bush administration operatives have criticized recent comments Perry has made. Political strategist and Bush adviser Karl Rove said comments Perry made about Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke were not a presidential statement.

The readiness of Rove and other former Bush administration officials to criticize Perry illustrates a longstanding rift between the camps of the two Texas politicians.

Sorry about that. I have no idea what happened.
Hello boys” I MISSED YOU!
It would take a bottom-feeding, disreputable network like MSNBC to pay the even slightest regard to this twit.
Bush’s fault.
Her teeth?
"Rove you magnificant bastard!
My how times change. What an elitist piece of work.
I volunteer to find out.
Why would Bush’s people care one way or another about Perry? Unless, of course, they’re planning a late entry for Jeb.
Agree with you totally. And so tired of the bashing of Pres Bush and what people call the “republican elite”. it is divisive and foolhardy in my mind. Pres Vush wasn’t perfect but he is a good man. And a good President.

I saw Perry’s remarks and Rove’s response. I actually thought that Perry’s remarks were pretty tame. He said that Texans are not carbon copies, and you can sum up the difference by the fact that Bush went to Yale and he went to A&M. So why was that remark below the belt? I don’t know but Rove thought it was. My thought was that Perry was trying to distance himself from Bush, and Rove was helping him do it. I would have been satisfied with that explanation except that I heard the rumor that Jeb was trying to persuade Ryan to run, which would obviously be bad for Perry and help Romney. I suppose that you could say Jeb is also trying to help Perry distance himself. I don’t think Ryan is going to run in any event, so maybe it’s all just scripted. Or maybe the bad blood really is as bad as Rove made it appear.
Too bad they didn’t have that dress in her size.
I think the Obammy camp knows that unless they are able to destroy him right now, he will be our next President.
I like Rove and don’t like the term “elitist”. IMHO it is a form of envy, reminds me of the envy of the rich or the good looking.
