Casey is a party hack, who has done absolutely nothing except spout off the Obama agenda. But Burns wouldn’t be much of a choice at all.

Pennsylvania needs another true conservative to run as an alternative to Casey. Two conservative senators from PA at one time would be sweet.

The first thing PA Republicans need to do is get rid of Rob Gleason, he’s Dem lite and was a Murtha supporter for years.

Whatever gains we have made have been in SPITE of, not BECAUSE of, gleason. Please let someone else step up! Burns is a hollow man. Knock and all you hear is an echo!

Sorry for the triple post..I really hate my computer sometimes. :)
Anyway, I no longer live in PA but we always supported Bill Russell. Could he be a contender?

A little-known but highly principled conservative would make an excellent US Senator for Pennsylvania. His name is Brad Roae.

Bruce Castor is a no bull, stauch conservative...currently a Montgomery county leader, former Mont. county DA. He gets in opponents faces with no apologies. It would be great to see him in the Senate. But he’s not a favorite of the wise men on the Repub. committee.
With any luck he’ll at least run against Pelosi Jr. Alyson Schwartz.

Burns is a GOP insider who ran in the old Murtha congressional district and lost a close race last year.

The Murtha district is being eliminated in the Republican plan to redraw the state with one less congressional district because of the census.

So now they’ve come up with a new assignment for Burns.....

yep.

Had dinner with Doug HOffman of NY 23 the other evening. He sends his greetings to all.

NY has the same problem. Radio hosts keep saying that the people keep putting the same guys in office. Nooooooooooooooooooooo, WE don’t have a damn thing to do with it.

Good men like Hoffman & Col. Frank Ryan are not wanted by the powers that be because they are good men AND they are good men that can count.

Hiya HC, good to see you. You couldn’t be any more correct.

The powers that be will have to be replaced in many states before these patriots will be welcomed and aided, our country needs them desperately.

Bruce Castor is in the midst of a re-election campaign for his County Commissioner seat. I wouldn't expect to see him campaign for a national seat just yet, since Montco's finances are a mess and there's a lot of work that needs to be done on a county level. He's a bulldog though. His running mate, Jenny Brown, is another one to watch. Very competent on a local level and seems to connect well with voters.
