“You believe it was physically impossible for him to run in that direction?”

Excuse me, I should have said flee the premises.

As best I can tell, in your onion, you don’t think he would have made that move.

“As best I can tell, in your opinion, you don’t think he would have made that move.”

I don’t know what he would have done or not, but it sounds highly fishy to me. First, the officer tells one story, then he changes it and say the guy was trying to flee out some rear exit (that doesn’t exist). If he were not a policeman, the changing story alone would be enough to impeach his credibility. Add to that the fact that his second story seems downright implausible, and I have a hard time giving much weight to his account.

That’s just one thing out of several that make me lean towards believing the suspect is being more truthful. I say more truthful, because he admittedly did some things that call his credibility into question as well, so I kind of doubt either side is telling the whole truth here.

Rats simply like to nom on toes. We had a female who would nibble the hubby’s toes, and she wasn’t a pink or ruby eyed so there’s no excuse...she just liked it.

Before I came along, hubby had never had [or even been around] any pet rats.

He was freaked at first but then got to know and love them.

He had Biff [a champagne hooded] resting on his chest while he watched TV [hubby, not the rat] and without his knowledge, Biff was happily “barbering” hubby’s goatee.

I’m just sitting there watching the show and hear a yelp of surprise and when I looked over, Biff had probably nibbled a good half inch off of the left side.

I thought it was hilarious...hubby...not so much.

[whiskers is whiskers and Biff was just helping the big guy look spiffy, right?]

I make sure and keep ~my~ hair away from our 3 girls.

Now Betty [a black Irish] delights in grooming his cuticles and callouses.

I swear they’re all born beauticians.

:D

“And how did the cop know that?”

All cops secretly carry the blueprints of every building in their jurisdiction.

Now promise you won’t tell anyone.

So, there's rarely an error when a cop uses his dog? Is that what you are saying?

yes
