As an American Jew who is religiously observant, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the support that Israel gets from religious Christians. The way that they express their faith so naturally and authentically, and move from thought to speech to action, is an example for us all.
I think that religious Jews and religious Christians have in common a belief that G-d controls all and that our job is to do the right thing, and let G-d worry about the consequences. My world-view has more in common with religious Christians than it does with non-believers who descend from people of any faith.
To those of you who are non-Jewish supporters of Israel, you have my deepest thanks from the bottom of my heart.

Like I care what Norm has to say. I think I will stick with God has to say about it and leave Norm to deal with his words.
It boggles the mind that this is the same intellect that invented the notion of the Chomsky grammar which is a huge deal in theoretical computer science and an underpinning in how we think about computers, programming languages etc.
I guess there are other cases of this happening - like in A Beautiful Mind - still amazing to ponder though.
