The AFL-CIO Executive Council this morning reaffirmed its support for comprehensive immigration reform. Here is the entire statement issued by the council:
The AFL-CIO reaffirms its position on comprehensive immigration reform. “Enforcement only” is not the AFL-CIO’s position because it is contrary to comprehensive reform. We have serious concerns about E-verify, and do not support E-verify in its current form. If E-verify were to change, we would re-consider that position.
No one in either party today has the courage to do this.

What did Presidents Hoover , Truman, & Eisenhower have in common?
This is something that should be of great interest for you to pass around. I didn’t know of this until it was pointed out to me.
Back during the great depression, Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.
Harry Truman deported over two million illegal aliens after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans.
In 1954, Dwight Eisenhower deported 13-M Mexicans.The program was called Operation Wetback. It was done so WWII & Korean veterans would have a better chance at jobs. It took two years, but they deported them!
Now, if they could deport the illegal aliens back then, they could sure do it today. If you have doubts about the veracity of this information, enter Operation Wet-back into your favorite search engine & confirm it for yourself.
Why, you might ask, can’t they do this today? Actually, the answer is quite simple. Hoover, Truman, & Eisenhower were men of honor, not untrustworthy politicians pandering for votes!

The AFL-CIO is more than happy to swell the ranks of Democrats, and benefit from subsidized labor. The rebuilding of America will go much smoother when and if national unions are busted up and outlawed.
We shouldn’t need to add to the debt to deport. Self-deportation should be the way - illegals should deport themselves on their dime. They came here illegally on their dime, made some bucks while here, so they should have enough to get back, fly, drive or walk. Crossing the Rio is two-way. The unemployment rate should help, just need to reinforce its effect by making it tougher to work.
Illegal immigration drives down wages. As the most expense labor on the market, union laborers are disproportionally hurt by illegal immigration

The only way that you have to save your sorry selves from extinction is more crime....and going to the felon-party is the obvious path to success.
This proposal is poison for the rank and file, but the union bosses would sell their own mothers if they thought it would advance the Democrat party.
