2012 is right around the corner and we all need to express ourselves clearly to our reps, to those around us, to our family and friends and neighbors about the importance of this election for our country, for our liberty, and way of life.
I urge everyone to exercise their 1st amendment rights. Show up and let your voice be heard and do not let your input to townhalls, Tea Parties, demonstrations, calls to your reps, forums, etc. be sileced.
Here are some posters I like that can help make those expressions. Feel free to use them however you see fit:
We need to continue staffing the House, Senate, White House, governor's mansions, state houses, city councils, etc. with every-day American and NOT politicians.
We need people who will simply do what is best for our nation as if though they were conscientiously minding their own home's business and affairs. Let's take back oor country in 2012!

I have always loved the umbrella caper and my second favorite is the unsaluted pledge to the flag. Thanks for sharing. All are treasures.
Just a few simple rules, going forward:
1. Efffective immediately, only those who have had to meet a payroll, led men in combat or otherwise served in the military may hold public office. This applies to current office holders.
2. No one who receives government largesse in the form of welfare of any kind may vote. It’s a simple conflict of interest.
3. No one may vote unless they can present vaild ID that establishes their full US citizenship. Period.
3. Clean and sober shall be the primary means test for all existing welfare recipients of any kind. Test positive, you’re history and with no appeal.
4. Effective immediately, the salaries and benefits of Congress and Senate and the salaries and benefits of US military personnel shall without exception be transposed.
5. Effective immediately, all members of the House and Senate shall be subject to the same rules, rugulations and taxes they impose on the rest of us. No exceptions.
6. Members of the legal profession shall immediately and forever be disqualified to hold public office. This includes current oiffice holder. Out you go.
A good start, I think. And worth fighting for.

3. End foreign aid to any nation not an ally and trade partner of ours.
4. Close the borders, train National Guard on the Borders. Build the fence.
5. Term limits.
6. Two for one act of congress. no new legislation unless it rescinds or ends two existing acts with its passage.
7. Drug testing of welfare recipients.
8. Physical exam for welfare recipients, if you are diagnosed as able bodied...you must work.
9. Open all US oil and coal field to development.
10. Open nuclear indusry back up.
You know, Jeff, I'm really starting to hate these people with an implacable, nuclear-driven, core-of-the-sun-hot hatred. Even the Missus is starting to see it that way.
They're killing our country while mocking and spitting on every principle we hold dear. They mean to rule us like cattle.
I've recently arrived at the notion that I cannot really call them monsters any more. That denies them their human agency - the fact that they have made a choice to act in this manner. To call them monsters grants them an excuse of sorts. An excuse that I am not willing to grant.
Regulations are only good during current congress. To extend past the current congress, the regulations have to be legislated into law by congress.

I just learned this month that Congress members are NOT subject to investment insider trading laws.
Many are making a killing on investments with their inside knowledge.
Even CNBC called it “market crushing” returns
Another reason why people spend millions to get a job that pays thousands.
