Hardly surprising.
What ever can push an agenda will be done. If distorting a survey advances the agenda, the liberals will do it.
The MSM does this all the time, by magnifying and distorting anything which denigrates a Republican, while minimizing or ignoring bad news stories about Democrats.

That’s why the military will turn on this bunch when push comes to shove. The administration is so screwed.

A bunch of us here on FR who completed the “survey” have been saying since it was sent out that it was clearly intended to reach a particular result. The only place to say anything negative about the effect of repeal was in a “what else did you want to say?” space at the end. The result was a foregone conclusion.
Sickening.

VIOLATION!
You may NOT use any form of the word “pivot” in the course of discussions regarding gays!

Cut spending, spread the troops thin and do anything else that can be done to destroy the military.

Thre is a gay cabal within the military. Ths is how they work. Imagine what they would do in time of war? They need too be routed out, frog marched to the brig, and court marshalled.
Our military cannot operate with a treasonous gay agenda in control of its functions.

Are we really surprised by this?I'm not "we", but I'm not. I'm surprised that it was admitted to or found out about so quickly.
Something else that would surprise me would be Congress' repeal of DADT.

An efficacious military requires massive amounts of macho heterosexual testosterone fuiled motivation—the REAL MAN FACTOR that separates XBox warriors from Falujah veterans.
Overt Homosexual behavior in the military cannot stand without the politically correct threat of punishing those who complain, resist homosexual harassment, and believe that homosexual behavior is immoral and/or a sin.
Surveys from other militaries that deploy known homosexuals are just as skewed as this one.Anyone who doesn't say homosexuals in the service are the greatest thing since the Ma Deuce—get skinned!!!

LEAKED: U.S. defense officials deliberately skewed survey results to sway 'Don't Ask' repeal"Leaked"??
Who could have been stupid enough to believe that survey in the first place? I was under the impression that everybody (okay, everybody with an IQ over 70) saw the survey results and just rolled their eyes with the understanding that the fix was in all along.
Anyway, it's a good thing that it's now official. It will give the new President and GOP congress something to hang their hats on when they re-institute DADT.
