GOP has to unite behind CC and B. Politically, it’s a sure winner. If it passes the Senate and Obama vetos it, then he takes responsibility for the govt. shutdown. If he signs it, then it’s a GOP victory and the left will crack up.

I heard the call. I can’t say he was lying, but he certainly was tentative and uncomfortable. He is in over his head, and should resign in favor of someone who is a fighter.

3 trillion in cuts with no new taxes seems like a pretty good deal to me. Of course we’d have to hear the edtails but it’s better than others that have been out there.
Depends on how the cuts work. Are they over 10 years and all backloaded or are there actually signifcant cuts next year?
This just shows how powerful Rush is that Boehner makes a beeline right to him to put out the fire.
