This morning on the Senate floor, Majority Leader Harry Reid publically vented his clear frustration with House Republicans over the ongoing debt ceiling negotiations. “Let me get this off my chest,” he said, calling it “untoward” that the House is not in session this weekend.

He warned Congress has "days, not weeks" to get this done.

He complained that the Senate is in a holding pattern, waiting for action from the House. “I think it is just untoward,” said Reid. “That's the kindest word I can say to the House of Representatives, out this weekend … what a bad picture that shows to the country.”

He complained that the Senate is in a holding pattern, waiting for action from the House.

Someone needs to tell Reid the House has done something already this week, by passing a bill which would fight the debt-crisis. It is now up to the Senate to do their part, then come to reconcilation. Reid is upset because the House did not do what he wanted them to do, and that is to cave to the RATS and obamma!

The GOP should give the Senate Rats the debt ceiling increase one month at a time with double the cuts to increase over a 5 year period with a down payment of $500 billion immediately until the Rats and Obama cave.

absolutely!
“the Senate is in a holding pattern, waiting for action from the House.” is simply a BIZARRE statement.

the house passed a bill. it is THEY who are waiting.

(and if Reid means the “gang of six” nonsense, it is not even in legislative form, and cannot even be “scored” by CBO. ...Reid is an evil evil liar.)

Reid - Typical welfare democrat. He lays back in his easy chair and demands everyone else do the work.

What have the democrats done?
What are the welfare democrats willing to "sacrifice" or cut for the cause?

So far, the left wing sacrifices a whole bunch of - nothing!

Yep. The Rats and Obama couldn't even pass a yearly budget when they controlled all 3 branches.

All they are doing is waiting on the GOP to make the proposals so they can demagogue it and use it as a political tool by spinning it. The Rats have no plans.

CALL your senators and Raise Hell about Reid’s antics - and in support of CCB.

202-224-3121

They must feel the heat, or we don’t stand a chance on ANY spending cuts.
