One thing you need to know: Paul Burka is a LIBERAL. Texas Monthly is a liberal rag.
That said, he nails it pretty well, and might at least educate his liberal MSM brethren not to be too far off when they go after Perry.

A surprisingly good article. It’s doubtful I’d find much to agree with Burka but he gives a good overview of Perry while slapping down some of the more common criticisms, including what you often see parroted around here.

A look at Perry's enemies is telling. Here are 2 men who served in TX government -- one is now a trial lawyer and one is a radio personality. After the GOP Primary (and Perry is the winner) Al Gore will write his Rick Perry hit piece (for now GOP infighting employing "Perry loves Gore BS" works for Obama's crowd).
