we dont have much to work with. people that we like and would support either havent announced or are unlikely to win.
Exactly. I'd like to see McCotter run but he would have an uphill climb since most Michiganders had never heard of him prior to a couple of years ago. Its unfortunate but we really do have very few people who could mount a serious challenge to either Stabenow or Levin.
Also I like the idea of replacing Hoekstra with a more conservative representative in the house.

McCotter needs to keep up his run for presidency. i think that'll draw a large number of MI voters away from romney, splitting the moderate vote, and give a conservative a chance of taking MI in the primary.
besides, we don't need another pro big labour bailout granting type in the senate.
