That 3000 rebel figure may not be all that far off. I keeping waiting for the MSM to notice that every time they announce a “massive offensive” the casualty figures are in single digits.
Many people don’t realize how interdependent many countries are, including our own. Meanwhile here is some hopeful news regarding the reconciliation among different tribes in Libya which could hold promise for a peaceful future. Tribalism in Libya, Yemen and Syria have all been used as an excuse for maintaining a dictatorship. Hope this may at least be changed in Libya as a result of common action in concert against a common enemy.

It seems that Gaddafi is now using extensive mining of cities to slow the rebels, especially Brega. What a mess, I just hope he doesn’t end up doing what Saddam Hussein did when he left Kuwait.

In the case of Libya, they are taking money from an old ally, bad guy though Ghaddafi is and GIVING it to our sworn enemy the Moslem Brotherhood and their surrogates Al Qaeda plus various Palestinian and other terrorists like Hammas and Hezbolllah, who after flooding in, introduce themselves as anti-Ghaddafi “rebels” and plot to destroy America.
With the full help and support of Islamic Caliph candidate Obambi, whose every action - on purpose and by accident - deals fatal blows to our nation!

They DEFINE what money is. They DETERMINE its worth in more ways than one.
As Chaplain Lindsey Williams has documented . . . they can raise or lower the price of oil almost independent of supply and demand. He warned years ago that they were going to take the price of gas to around $10.00 a gallon. They almost made it once. Looks like they are at it again, as he asserts.
I realize things are greatly complex and that supply and demand is a rather powerful set of forces.
However, these Marxist globalist jerks pull ALMOST all the strings involved with supply and demand. They CAN play the supply/demand interchange like a piano to suit their destructive goals.
Look what they have done with housing . . . and what they are in the middle of doing with food—toward outrageous degrees of famine—including in this country.
Remember, Fars, when Sailors run out of money, they go back to the ship where the meals are free!

Good rant, but you missed the point. The money, in this case, is already in accounts controlled by Ghaddafi and the rebels are being permitted to tap into those accounts.
This is actually Libyan assets that have been frozen to pressure the good Colonel, but your point is still generally valid, as the head commo in charge might say.
Don’t worry, that money will not be used against Israel.
So our President funds those who hate us. No surprise, as he himself is is the man who despises America.
Wes should simply let these people continue fighting each other. Both sides are ouyr enemies. What we need is a true liberty-minded, repluican principles insurgency amongst them. Short of that, let them whittle each others numbers way down.

Ghaddafi’s control of the funds has been frozen, so he does NOT have any ability to use or direct the use of these funds.
Now that the State department has labelled the rebels as the OFFICIAL government of Libya, the rebels can legally seize those funds as having been misappropriated and now confiscated by the new government!
I’m not sure where the point was missed? It is someone else’s - not the rebels’ - money being handed to them t use against the real owner.
Exacty what Obama is doing with our money he is misusing to work against us, “we the people”. He uses our tax dollars to advertise and promote his desires against or in opposition to our wishes!
