She was probably already spending the money in her head as she lay in her cell patiently waiting for her imminent release.
But it appears Casey Anthony needn't bother because she may not be 'cashing in' on the death of her daughter Caylee as much as was first predicted. It was thought that the accused child murderer could have raked in millions of dollars from TV appearances, interviews, penning her memoirs, a movie about the tragedy and even a career in the porn industry.
And no sooner had she been acquitted on all counts except for lying to police than reports surfaced that the folks at Jerry Springer had offered Anthony, her parents and her brother $1million to appear on the show.

I'd give 2 to 1 odds you're RIGHT on that.
Yes but I think she had to sign off
If the only way she can make money after this is to take off her clothes, well, perhaps living with herself will be the biggest punishment of all.
Something like that might happen, but frankly this looks like Casey is going ot end up being in debt and having to work at some scummy job ot pay the fines and bills.
Just days before opening arguments in Anthonys murder trial, the IRS filed a federal tax lien against Casey, claiming she owes $68,520.41 in unpaid federal income taxes, interest and penalties. The lien is for the same year, 2008, in which Caylee was allegedly murdered.
Not a good start.
Did that article just call Jerry Springer a media giant??!
Yes, it did. :P)
Yes, it did.
Sadly enough, I believe that she will commit another crime.
Casey is a narcissistic psychopath in the clinical sense; no empathy for others. It is a characteristic shared with con artists and the like. She lies on demand, and believes she can get away with anything. I believe her acquittal will only reinforce her notions that she is untouchable.
Her comments about getting pregnant or adopting were particularly chilling to me.
That would fit the OJ pattern. :)
And, we remember she was also forging checks in her 'grief' over Caylee. I think you're right, dunno if murder will be among them, but i think like you, she's psychologically deviant, incapable of seeing the rules as something not to get around.
Here's another parallel thought. The Goldmans won a ruling against O.J. in civil court for the murder of their son. That's what led O.J. to hide his income and go the back door route for dealing in memorabilia (which led to the crime he's now in jail for). I wonder if a Caylee Anthony Trust could be established and pursue Case in civil court in the same way.
thanks for your post...
She will screw up. I guarantee it.
Perhaps a pool on the date of her next arrest.. ;)
I am glad to hear that she will likely end up in hideous debt and likely forced to slave away just to start at square one.
“She will be back in jail for something soon”
People like her are always in trouble over something.
The IRS tax lien against Casey Anthony may not be the actual amount Casey owes; based on the Internal Revenue Code, the Secretary of the Treasury or his designate (the IRS Revenue Agent) can assess taxes based on Anthony’s estimated income and with only minimal legal deductions (standard only, since she wasn’t married). Anthony can file a corrected tax return and reduce her liability to the correct rate. However, if she has a penchant for exaggeration, it would hit her in these little ways.
They couldn’t have searched too hard if the wooded area was so near her home where the body was found “in plain sight,” to a person standing 30 feet away looking in.
Back then that area was covered in 3 feet of water. There had been a hurricane or tropical storm. The area was also covered in tons more of vine and brush.
It probably won't be in Florida. She has worn out her welcome here. It will be in another state. I can't see anyone hiring her not even a pimp. Pimps have standards. . . . . .
She may acquire wealth but it will be under a new found profession in the porn or escort industries.
Being an escort or stripper would be a dangerous risky profession for HER to choose.
Once upon a time, perhaps...
